There goes JJ McCarthy - Giants

Sadly, I expect we haven't heard the last from JJ. If he hasn't changed since August, I expect some big words from him, probably after a lucky win.

Maybe he has a point to talk. We don't know that yet. His future hasn't been set for the kid yet. I just wish him well. I really hope he goes onto play well.

All this hand wringing and if KM goes down Russell Wilson is still sitting there doing nothing. IMO he's way better than JJM if we need a bandaid to finish the year.

Does this mean JJ McCarthy will be able to wear his face paint and not be ridiculed by the fans (see Jaxon Dart)?

Even without JJ, our offense has above average talent. Kyler needs to be better. We can't have expensive players at literally every position on offense to carry the QB. Obviously, it was only one game,

Exactly. You have Addison and Jennings. You have an outlet with Jones as well. You have Hock. Can't blame it on Jefferson.

Everything discussed was a sunk cost. 1st and a 4th for him . . . so what. That has no bearings on what his current value is. If your QB whisperer is giving up on him I think that tells you enough. I think it comes down to a couple things. The first is his throwing mechanics and feel weren't up to par. The touch nor the timing are NFL caliber. It can either take a lot of time to get that adequate or it never comes (this is the most likely outcome). The second is I don't think he had the mental capacity to succeed or unwillingness to work within the system. It sounds like during a game there was a specific discussion about JJ not running and what he should do in that situation. It came up again the next week and JJ did the exact same thing and when it came to discussion he effectively said he was going to do what he was going to do. If you want to piss off a coach thats one way to do it. I think Kevin at this point with a short NFL life of coaches wasn't going to tie his ship to JJ's. He effectively has 1 more shot to get the QB situation right beyond Kyler. We will likely end up with a high 5th round pick.

My point was JJ being out COMPLETELY changed the Defenses plan. They were able to attack the line more generating more pressure. It shrank the field decreasing the amount of open areas for WR's to find. And if the field is shrunken the secondary can get to runs/scrambles faster.

I also think that KOC putting KM under center isn't a good idea. He has said outright he cant see over the line when under center. So why the hell would you keep lining him up like that?

Vikings still had enough talent to not be ass with competent QB play. It's not a hopeless situation where JJ was carrying the team and we lost the one guy that defenses had to care about. We have expensive players and high draft picks at most positions on offense.

The point was he would take Brosmer over Wilson. And so would I. Brosmer has a slim chance of getting better. Wilson was washed up 5 years ago.

Brosmer has never thrown a TD in a regular NFL game, but has been adept at throwing picks. Nolan Teasley is a moron. The Wilfs went with Kwesi and blew it and they just did it again. We could have had a competent and known commodity hiring a GM in Reed Burckhardt, but they had to go and f it up again.

The more I think about it, the angrier I get.

hes young, he could still improve, actually looked better in preseason that JJM IMO. However Wilson isnt young, sucks ass, and isnt going to get better.

I would rather see Brosmer or some other youngster than another over priced washed up has been.
