I've been a season tix holder back to the Moon days, not sure anymore. 

That's exactly what I've been feeling through this. I haven't been a season ticket holder nearly as long as you have. But I added 2 seats this year and now have 4. I hope that others on the team move that number up from 64%. I expect the team to have to deal with the unexpected and I hope they all stay healthy. But I am not looking forward to a season possibly marred by 'controllables'.

So between you and me, there's 8 seats. 8 PSL's, lots of $$$. Nobody is holding a gun to our heads, our choice. 

BUT....Do you think we'll see a dime back if the Vikings have to forfeit 3 games? 1? 5?

That's why I sold off some of my tickets for games this season. Things are going to get worse before it gets better. 

@Vikergirl -  Totally understandable. After a season of not seeing any games, I planned to be there in person. My game partner is in for the full season so he took one seat for all games. The other two seats are yet open. There are always plenty of people who want to go, but I just haven't done anything with them yet.  

@purplefaithful - if there are forfeited games, I definitely expect a refund/credit. I'll pay to see the team play, but certainly won't pay for nothing. Player vaccine status is a controllable for the players, not the fans. I'll take my $$$ back.

Oh and I'll add that I'm totally prepared for a reduction in attendance limits if we continue on this path. I spent the entire winter in another state last season and am considering doing it again. If I don't have to be in the office at all, I won't be in Minnesota.

Jimmy and Greed were added to help out here and also moderate the Sensitive Topics forum when it was created.  I try to stay out of there because I don't really care to discuss politics and a lot of the "discussion" has too much drama for me.

All I'll say is, being a moderator is NOT a glamorous job.  People may not always agree with decisions that are made, but everyone gets a longer leash than they probably deserve...

Well, we had a pretty diverse group at one point...  but MontanaTom and Cricket retired...  Sassy and Tempe left...  Prairie ghost doesn't post much anymore...  and Fano is no longer with us :-(

@Nichelle would be the obvious choice, if only to get her on the board more. 2nd choice @Kentis.  Always on, reasonable, mostly apolitical, and funny as hell. I think the job requires a sense of humor. Also has a gift for brevity.

I have no idea how you get to your statement based on mine. Kirk's dad seems to have some pretty extreme opinions on things that are not a right vs. wrong scenario. Saying Satan controls textbooks and how its distributed is pretty far out there. I'm making a correlation of that with Kirk's responses to being vaccinated, or lack thereof and his inability to elaborate or say where he got his information since he hasn't spoken with a doctor...or the insanely laughable idea that he's going to turn into Bubble Boy behind closed doors. I have no interest in any more covid discussion since you are obviously Dr. Waterboy on the situation, but Kirk's dad seems to be an extremist.
