HOOOOOLLLLD up... Mond wasn't vaccinated either?!?
Saw this buried in the Day 5 thread and everybody apparently missed it:
Correction: Reported Saturday night that Kellen Mond was vaccinated. That is not true. Been told by multiple people he was following protocols for unvaccinated players before testing positive. It's why he was testing in the first place. Unvaxxed tested daily. Sorry to mislead.
— Andrew Krammer (@Andrew_Krammer) August 2, 2021
So 75% of the QB's (Cousins, Mond, Stanley) were unvaccinated. Vikings must have the dumbest QB room in the NFL SMDH. No wonder Zim is blowing fuses.
P.S.: There goes the anti-vaxxers' "But the vaccinated guy tested positive and we jumped on Kirk" argument. Turns out we just had one more idiot than we realized.

@"medaille" said: First of all, Ivermectin is a human drug that is also used for animals. Many drugs used for humans are also used for animals, because often times they work for both because we’re similar. I would assume that human versions of drugs are more tightly regulated than the animal versions, and you shouldn’t be guessing dosages. If you want Ivermectin, you should be going to a doctor to ensure you’re getting proper dosages and human grade product. Maroonbells attempt to slur Ivermectin, by pretending it’s purely for animals is ignorant, disingenuous, and counterproductive.Regarding vaccines vs anti-viral medications: I think it’s pretty dumb thinking to be setting
this up as a this medicine vs that medicine because you don’t have to pick just
one. Especially in this situation where
vaccines are only really useful before someone gets Covid19, and other drugs are
being suggested as having benefits both in preventing people from getting Covid19
and after they’ve already got Covid19.
In this time period, people should be being offered multiple things they
can do to reduce their risk of Covid. We
should be exercising, improving our diet, losing weight, ensuring that we have
sufficient Vitamin D and probably other vitamins, avoiding crowded indoor
locations, etc. as preventative measures.
We should be exploring vaccines as a preventative measure. We should be exploring other drugs to help
squash Covid19 after you get it. I don’t
think it makes any logical sense that our nation is hyper-focused on vaccines,
masks, and isolation as the only things to pay attention to. We need a comprehensive approach. The plan shouldn’t be take the vaccine and if
you get it, well your SOL. If you’re not
hearing constant stories about your government trying to find non-vaccine drugs
to help people once they get Covid, you should question how hard they’re
trying.Regarding the safety of these vaccines vs Ivermectin for
Covid. Both are experimental usage and
not FDA-approved for Covid. Ivermectin
is FDA approved for other uses in humans and has a long history of being safe
at approved dosages. No mRNA vaccines are
FDA approved and have a short history of widespread usage. The VAERs data which isn’t great but is the
only really comprehensive place for adverse reactions to vaccines shows that these
vaccines are being reported as having harmful effects much more often than previous vaccines. That said, it’s still a low risk, they’re
just not as safe as the vaccines you’re used to.
I'm not a doctor. I just read stuff ... sometimes.
Well stated. Kinda seems like they don't really care about saving lives as much as they care about posturing. The big difference between ivermectin as a treatment and the mRNA shot is weighed in dollars.

So you repeatedly cite the same source over and over to validate your position? How about looking at the fact that the federal govt is now telling Facebook what they can and cannot have posted on their site. That the govt. is now fact checking and taking doctors that disagree with their marching orders for the message completely off of social media. I'm sure that means nothing to you. There are certainly studies that back up the vaccine. You will NEVER hear me deny that. But there are also studies that are much more difficult to find nowadays that say Ivermectin, Hydrochloroquine and other therapeutics have shown great promise and are effective as treatments without the side effects. There are many studies showing people with very strong Vitamin D levels are NOT catching Covid and are not experiencing hospital stays. There's a reason you're not seeing those studies, and it's in line with the collusion between the social media giants, main stream media, and the govt in place at this time. - The videos were from a town hall held by the Republican governor of Arkansas. He is looking to reverse the ban on masks mandates that he signed into law. He's since changed his mind due to the results and what they are seeing in the hospitals.
- It does not matter that the videos were aired on MSNBC. I actually didn't use MSNBC or CNN or anything else for "info". There were no questions or answers in the videos by any member of the media. Perhaps you didn't watch. Fine. But the Doctor was responding to the questions that were posed by those who were there. in the room, in protest. If you were standing in the room yourself you would have heard the same. Questions such as "What's in the vaccine?" and comments such as "If Doctors were allowed to tell the truth" were brought up. She responded with facts as well as her perspective which is based on education and years of hard earned experience. I guess she and so many other infectious disease specialists are having a hard time finding the studies.
- I don't believe I've read anyone here say that people shouldn't take preventative steps for our own health. Most do it. I take Vitamin D every day. I have some melanin which means it's not absorbed as easily naturally. So, I bolster that with Vit D pills. I'm also vaccinated. There are far too many people who are no longer with us who regretted the choice. When it comes to an effective option for our society as a whole, I absolutely support the vaccine.

There's a lot of people with horrible stories after getting the vaccine, but if you divide a lot of people by hundreds of millions of vaccines given that rate isn't going to blow you away. People that are against the vaccine, would probably say the same thing about Covid, that sure the numbers look not great, but when you divide by a ton of people the rate doesn't look so bad. I would say it's disingenuous to say that these vaccines are as safe as previous vaccines, but obviously tons of people have gotten them and are fine.@"medaille" said: First of all, Ivermectin is a human drug that is also used for animals. Gaslighting, straw man, whatever you want to call it, but you just stepped right into that one.Do you believe in ivermectin? It has scientific studies showing it works.
Whoa whoa whoa. Ivermectin has NEVER been the focus of a study. There is ONE study that used results from many studies looking at other factors. It is my understanding that ivermectin was not used exclusively in those tests subjects. So a few internet articles about the same study doesn't make it studies.Until there is a peer reviewed study that studies ivermectin as an actual treatment for covid on its own it about as good as internet hearsay.
As someone who's administered ivermectin to cattle please be careful with what you read on the internet.

Ivermectin has the exact same rumormill as HQC. There is ONE metadata study that says it shows positive results. Until there is an actual study conducted on ivermectin as a Covid-2 treatment it should not be looked at as some sort of savior to the worlds problems.
Both drugs can be harmful to humans. The CDC had to issue a treatment warning on HQC because they were actually seeing quite a few adverse reactions.Vitamin D: Is fine. The CDC says more testing in needed. The rumor that it works likely comes from a racial background. In the early days, Covid it was going through the African American communities harder then other races. AA's have a propensity to be Vitamin D deficient hence the rumor. My BIL who is an epidemiologist said go for it. Its not going to hurt you to take it. You'll just pass what isn't absorbed out. We actually do take a multi-vitamin in our household and my wife does do D supplements.

@"Waterboy" said:Agreed. There are a few here that have different opinions but can actually have a reasonable conversation. Nichelle is one of them and much respect towards her for that. I actually read her responses because they have individual thought behind them, not some regurgitated talking points.@"Nichelle" said:I disagree with a few of your conclusions, but overall I can respect your viewpoint. I do think there are major issues with what many posters view as “science”. When the media is blatantly and incessantly only airing stupid commentary from one side, when they’re only citing experts that agree with their narrative, there’s a problem. I respect that you took the time to answer coherently and without self-righteousness. If that happened across the spectrum, we’d be in a much better place.. There have been major issues with people taking the vaccines. That is not being faithfully reported, and that’s nearly undeniable. But, since it takes more than a simple google to get to the studies and experts showing that, and since they get banned when they do, it kinda leads to distrust and then some.@"Waterboy" said:
When you line up the list of sexual perverts on CNN and MSNBC that have been caught either lying or omitting news repeatedly just over the last two years, and use them for your info, I'm going to laugh at you. If you want to tell me that Twitter, Facebook, and Google are impartial, I'm going to laugh at you. They cannot possibly be trusted, yet Libs think we should blindly follow their marching orders. Go ahead, I'm not going to.Then you have people that have no brains spouting off the most crazy things said by the other side, and acting like that's their stance. Everything I have said has been true and backed up upon request., and more factually than the crowd that's simply parroting each other and slapping themselves on the ass over how funny they are. lol I have shown a moderate position and even admitted that were I in a more at risk category, I would consider the vaccine. Nothing crazy and it's not crazy for professional athletes to feel that way either. Yet we have the tough guy patrol calling others dumb fucks and trying to act more intelligent than others. I'd love a few of them to call the players they're labeling as dumb fucks that to their face. Of course, message board anonymity is one great safety net. lol
Since you responded directly to me, I'll do the same. You might notice that I generally don't sink into the "people have no brains" comments when referring to posters here. So, on that note, I'll leave you be.
- First, the source isn't Twitter. Laugh all you want. I don't mind. But think about it for a minute first.
- The source is an epidemiologist. (Specifically Medicine / Infectious Disease / Epidemiology / NYU prof / @BellevueHosp doc / Journalism / Speaking / Host @AmericanDxFm & @EpidemicPodcast)

All that any of you has shown is the ability to regurgitate facts that aren't facts. It's clear you've done little to no research on the virus, but act like experts. You fail to comprehend the admission from Jen Psaki that the government is cracking down via the social media sites to make sure that vaccines are front and center as the only alternatives to dealing with the virus. Holistic medicines, promising treatments such as Regeneron and Ivermectin, and Diet (Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Iron, Melatonin, and Zinc) are being censored. MD's who are broadly heard and not toeing the govt message are being removed from Google searches, Facebook, and Twitter. There has been a concerted effort to make sure only one message is heard, and it flies right on by the dopes on this board trying to act like they somehow "get it". lol You can see that once challenged, you all either make up facts or change the subject.
All of your conspiracy theories notwithstanding, its simple science water. Im a believer in alternative treatments, but vitamin C doesnt stop polio or your ability to transmit it to someone else.Yeah people are pissed that unreasonable people jeopardize the team (society) success
its your choice man, but we all depend on each other if we are goong to have a functional society
I will repeat what WB said, " You can see that once challenged, you all either make up facts or change the subject. "
Gaslighting, straw man, whatever you want to call it, but you just stepped right into that one.Do you believe in ivermectin? It has scientific studies showing it works.

So, don't take animal ivermectin cuz you don't know the dosing and there may be other things in it. Good advice. As far as being dangerous? Ivermectin has proven very safe over many years and off-label use is a common practice for doctors. Banning doctors from using safe treatment for potentially life-threatening diseases is much more dangerous that using Ivermectin. I already shared a site that shows all the studies that prove it works. But here it is again. https://ivmmeta.com/
Again, if covid is this dangerous, then we should use what we can to save lives.
