Annual VikeFans Tailgate and get together?
OK, Now that camp is behind us its really time to get cranking on this thing. We are targeting the Tampa Bay game on Sunday September 24th for our annual goings on. We are once again hoping to do some sort of Saturday gathering as well as a tailgate before the game....during the game.... and maybe after the game as well ( watch out for the cracks in the asphalt...they can be a real challenge) for those that dont know... typically there are a few that dont have tickets to the game, but want to hang out anyway so we get a TV set up in the parking lot with the game feed going on it for those outside... (this is actually a pretty good time as you can really get to know your brethren and the beers is much much cheaper)
So before we set anything in stone, who would be planning on joining us? Please note "Saturday", "Sunday", or "Both" in your responses as well as how many would be in your group if it will be more than just yourself.

at this point we are at 42... nothing set in stone, I just wanted to do a head count so far. If you arent on this list we havent seen a response from you for the tailgate event.

For those of you that like spicy food, we are having a get together with some makers of spicy local MN products and some chile pepper lovers the week after on the Saturday before the Lions game.

I will be there for sure. Accompanied by The Lochstar who is also a fan of spicy cuisine. With that said, there is only so much you can talk about hot stuff before talking about the Vikings. I am flying out to Chicago to meet with a Regional on the 24th and will fly back the 29th. When is this all going down?

I am expecting that Mike and I will be down there at about 6Am ( gates open at 7) or so to lock in a good spot, it will take about an hour to get things all set up so about 8 AM?
I think I am planning on hanging out in the tailgate lot with those that dont have tickets so this will go all day.... or at least until Zombie Mike makes his appearance and decides he needs to head to bed.

I dont miss a game. that will definitely be available.
So.... the weather forcast for sunday is 80% chance of rain. any suggestions for waterproofing this event?
The longhouse will be open for the game. that's an option for viewing the game.
I have my 10'x10' canopy it doesn't have sides however. If we had more than one of those we would be "covered"
