You get your NT that I am very high on Phillips. I like Malachi Moore better than Castro, but he wasn't there. I don't see us drafting a RB now at all without a decent trade down package. You get a S that can take over. Rivers can be plugged in at LG. We don't need a T. Rivers can also be the player that can fill in when needed with injuries.

Love Revel, but I think the injury is spooking teams. He moved down quite a bit on DJ's latest big board. With all the needs we filled in free agency, I do think NT is now a possibility for us, hopefully not in the 1st round, but I wouldn't mind it in the 3rd. I think you're wrong about drafting a back. In fact, I think it's still a 1st round option for us.

I do think we get that NT in the draft. CJ West and Phillips are on my list. I think someone like Deone Walker or Collins could be a great fit there as well. I don't see us having much of a chance by them. You can trade out Revel for Hairston/Amos/Thomas/Morrison. I think I would lean towards Hairston if we stay put or trade back a few spots.

I am torn on RB. I don't see one unless we trade down now. I can see us going after a Jaylin Noel, Isaiah Bond, Jalen Royals, Xavier Restrepo now at WR before getting a RB. If we went RB in round 1, I wouldn't be upset at all. That means its an absolute stud, but I just don't see it.

Phillips won't be there at 133, but the draft is weird at times. This would be a nice outcome. Like I said, I love Malachi Moore. Perfect FS for this system. 97 will be hard, if we don't go DT with the first pick. You either take Grant if he is there or you take West or Phillips. Then if you go DT with the first pick, you have Burke or Strong at 97 and have to wait on a G. I prefer Kandra, but he would have to transition to LG and that will take some time. I believe Rivers could fit that position as well in the 5th round. Wouldn't be much of a transition for him.

There is a zero point zero chance we trade our #1 next year for a running back. Not happening. RB is a position you can address in FA easily without blowing up the cap.

If somehow this could happen, this would be an amazing draft. I have two crushes later on. Malachi Moore and Kyle Williams. Martinez won't be there here, but with the depth it could happen.

I think Rivers is a tad high at 97, but I would love this draft. If Barron falls to 24, you don't take a trade down IMO. It is good to see Rivers getting some love, instant plug and play at LG. I am starting to see Malachi Moore going higher now too.

20. The team is clearly going for it. Jeanty is Jeanerational. A premier back on the same team with Justin Jefferson? Fuck them picks.

If they pull that off, It would be amazing. Don't see it, but I would be pretty damn excited.

Well, you’re a GM without a contract still. Do you swing for the fences or sit on your heels.

As the man once said “swing away”

Fuck them picks indeed.

Good point. But speaking of zero point zero chances, I think those are very nearly the odds of Kwesi not getting extended.

We could see this year coming two years ago. We knew we would draft our QBOTF and we knew we'd have a QB on a rookie deal and a shit ton of cap space in 2025 to go for it all. So I think we have one more big move yet to make. Maybe that's Rodgers (hopefully not), or maybe it's a big move up for Jeanty. Personally, knowing KOC was with the Rams when they traded for Jalen Ramsey at the trade deadline, I think we could also keep our powder dry for when the Jets start 0-9 and Sauce wants out.

That makes 4 straight mocks by credible draft yappers with the Vikings taking a safety. I can definitely see an argument for it. It's certainly much more likely now than it was a month ago.

Kiper also came out with a new mock draft today. I find it interesting and great for the Vikings that both mocks have Jaxson Dart being drafted before us (Kiper has him #9 to New Orleans). The more quarterbacks, tight ends, and receivers drafted before us...the better. He has the Vikings taking Barron

Brugler had us taking Banks in his March 4th draft. One of many OTs this year that project inside. I wouldn’t hate that. Brandel slides to swing tackle backup guard.

Now only if Walker would fall to 97. Not saying its impossible, but kinda saying it. I would drop the mic after this draft and never look back.

I guess I try and do mocks that are plausible. Not taking two RBs with a bunch of trades to put you in some percentage.

Being that Kwesi is an analytics GM. Savion Williams wont sniff our team. Thank god for that.

What type of S is the key. If Mettelus takes over for Harrison in 26 get Emmanwori. If Jackson wilts with full time reps, maybe Starks. S could get real thin real fast.
