Just for shits and grins I went and looked at CBS. You owe me for eye bleach. They could recruit a couple guys from Walter's and do a better job.

I am starting to really like Jordan James. Great burst and acceleration. Had something like 30 redzone TDs in a BBC and is only a junior. No fumbling issues throughout his career. Very strong for his size. Doesn't go down easy. I like that he has minimal wear on him and that means a lot coming out. Everything about him as a runner seems great, vision, cutting, and the ability to follow blocks and hit the hole is very explosive. Lacking pass blocking at the NFL level. Hopefully that can be taught.

Lots of Edges early, only helps the Vikings...
I'm not sure the mini CB run starts with GB and MN, seems late for that level of talent and position
I might shed a tear taking anyone but Nolen if he was still on the board.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Wow, if we have Barron, Harmon, Nolen, Starks, Zabel AND Booker on the board when we pick it's going to be hard to trade down. Not to mention one pick away from Will Johnson.

I take Barron without much hesitation. Well, maybe I let the clock run to the 3 minute mark just in case someone gets stupid.
Here’s another nugget confirmed.
The #Vikings “sniffed around” at the WR position in the pre draft process, and that’s a position to keep an eye on, @BenGoessling mentioned via Vikings Happy Hour (@MattAnderson_8).

Now the real question, who do you choose between Barron and Harmon? I think those two would be the conversation IMO.
Hope that the team behind you trades with you to get their guy, and we just take whomever they don't?
In this situation, I think you have to go Barron. Stay at 24 and just take your CB and get over that hump of your CB issues, that we have seemed to have forever it feels.
In his second mock of the 2025 NFL Draft, Charles Davis projects the Patriots to land two-way star Travis Hunter. Plus, a pair of NFC East squads get WR help. Check out the full first-round projection, 1-32.https://t.co/2AcRJJv1gE pic.twitter.com/vEbVBTbowT

Another mock, another S selection.

Despite my feeling on the matter, it would take balls of steel for Kwesi to draft another Georgia safety in the first round and making that selection without a contract extension already in his back pocket. Not happening..

I’ve cine stranger things happen. Imagine if Jim Finks passed on Chuck Foreman in 73 because Leo Hayden was a complete washout in 71?
I’m thinking this is a karma pick. Redemption tour. He’s a Brian Branch multi tool S.
He can play all over the back 4. I actually like this a bit better than Emmanwori because he’s more polished. I’ll trust BFlo and Jones in this case.

I think it would be foolish to avoid a certain player simply because the last player you took at the same position from the same college didn't work out. I mean, that's more than just a little silly. Should we avoid Omarion Hampton because Ty Chandler didn't work out?
I will say, though-- none of these mockers know how high the team is on Theo Jackson. They see we lost Bynum and they see Harrison Smith's age and they give us a safety. It's definitely a need and one that I can see worth of a 1st round pick. But it may not be quite the need they think it is.

Exactly.
I don’t think the commitment to building the trenches is over. Harmon or Booker makes sense. Nolen might be slipping a bit due to his unrefined pass rush game plan. My favorite in the class is Landon Jackson but going Edge is very unlikely.

Seems like I've Cine this somewhere before...

I agree that the talking heads are just trying to connect dots without digging into the roster much. I'd like to think Kwesi has learned his lesson and is going to build this thing from the inside out and fortify the trenches even after free agency. Build it up long term. After getting our asses kicked by two more physical teams last year I'm hoping the point has been drilled home.

Important to keep in mind also that BFlo was not on staff when we picked Cine.

I just threw up a little in my mouth.

Ha!
Y'all are wrong...
They'll address trenches later. The pick will be a trade-down and the pick is T. Henderson.
KOC loves him some offense :)
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
I’ve been comparing him to Atwater, Easley…I went too far back.
He’s Sean Taylor. Same size. Same traits.

I can't believe RB is +2500. Sure, it's less likely after adding Mason, but if anyone thinks KOC doesn't want to add a young premier back as BFF to his young franchise QB, you don't know ball. :P

Well, he's as close as you're going to get to Gibbs.
Decided to slum it and try another mock generator. Not too shabby.
