The Legal Tampering Period
I’m totally fine waiting out this stage. These are the types of moves that you shoot yourself in the foot with for some time. Wait to sign good nfl players at reasonable rates, and let the other teams hope for the lottery on some of these guys with tons of potential and little production.
Vikings are signing former Giants nose tackle Dalvin Tomlinson https://t.co/xZQbUvSO1J

Dalvin Tomlinson is an outstanding signing in my opinion. Exactly where we need help.

@"MarkSP18" said:That’s a good question. I would expect 3-tech, but he’s been an old school NT in the Giants system. The question to me is, what does he offer opposite Pierce (assuming Pierce returns to prior play) and how will he be used differently than he was with the Giants? While he’s not a jump out at you athletic freak, he has some real power and can cause havoc in the run game. Next to Pierce, we’re talking about roughly 660 pounds of power in the middle of the defense. I see his role as part of a truly stout run defense that includes two guys working together who can really push blockers back into the QB. I see it less as a traditional 3 tech and more like what the pair can do together. Together, I see them as potentially very disruptive up the middle, which should allow opportunity for our ends.@"Havoc1649" said: Dalvin Tomlinson is an outstanding signing in my opinion. Very possibly removes Barmore from consideration at #1.
With Lawson & Hendrickson off the market, DE becomes a draft priority.
The Vikings have been smart so far in FA... there are some ugly contracts getting thrown around by other teams. I would have loved some of these guys like Thuney, Lawson, etc. but not for what it would have done to our cap.
I like what we've done so far... now if we can add Griffen at CB and pick up a value OG with the money we have left, we've set ourselves up nicely to go OT or DE in the first round where the draft has some really good players.

Sign Forrest Lamp to compete at OG, sign a Safety & let's move unto the draft.

If you get the late season and playoff Barmore he is most certainly a first, however the motor has been sporadic over his career.@"Rigby" said: Very possibly removes Barmore from consideration at #1. @"Geoff Nichols" said:Agree. Sounds like most scouts have Onwuzurike ahead of Barmore.@"Rigby" said: Very possibly removes Barmore from consideration at #1. Truth be told, so many people were forcing Barmore onto the Vikings at #14. I personally don't even think he is worth a 1st round pick.

Marshall’s 29 pressures (including 19 hurries and nine quarterback hits) lead all SEC interior defensive linemen, as do his 22. He posted an SEC-high 80.8 run defense grade and an overall 79.6 grade, which ranks second - behind only Alabama’s Christian Barmore - among the 21 SEC interior defensive linemen with at least 300 snaps this season.https://www.eldoradonews.com/news/2020/dec/03/marshalls-legend-continues-grow-razorbacks/

One of the more puzzling signings...
As per Doogie, the Vikings have shown interest in S Keanu Neal.
