Lol well he's still only 28...I wouldn't say they are completely flat yet and you know he has talent. With Lawson gone and Hendrickson being courted by at least six other teams, he might not be a bad dice roll if we are determined to add a DE in free agency

Very doubtful they look at Clowney considering he had 0 interest in playing in MN last year. Hendrickson is still in play. But yes there is competition. Like Lawson they'll set a limit and if the price goes above it they'll pivot onto someone else... like Sheldon Rankins.

There is some stupid money getting thrown around right now...  when Nelson Agholor gets 2 yrs for 26 million it ain't time to dive in to FA yet.

It is a bit of a surprise that the chatter is the Vikings were in on these edge rushers.  Defensive tackle is more of a need and the draft is weak at defensive tackle according to most "scouts".

I suspect that the Vikings probably feel differently and, in fact, believe the defense tackle class is pretty good.

Who am I to argue with their recent success at drafting defensive tackles?
