Vikings rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison was cited for speeding and reckless driving early Thursday morning in St. Paul, Minn.
Addison,
21, is accused of traveling 140 mph in a 55-mph zone while driving a
Lamborghini Urus, according to a statement by the Minnesota State
Patrol. The incident occurred on eastbound Interstate 94 near Dale
Street in St. Paul, according to the MSP.
Addison, whose place of residence is listed as Frederick, Md., played college football at Pittsburgh and Southern California. He won the 2021 Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top receiver at Pitt before transferring to USC for his junior season.
Oh the Kwesi haters are enjoying this but shouldn't some of the criticism go to the scouts that watched this kid during the college season. I guarantee Kwesi was not the only guy that scouted him or interviewed him, everybody in the draft room had a say on draft night. The final decision may have been Kwesi and KOC but they depend on everybody else in that room.
I guess the almighty Harbaugh wouldn't have made that selection but we will never know. If we had only hired Ryan Poles and Jim Harbaugh this never would have happened. Dream on Kwesi haters.

And Kwesi deserves the entirety of the criticism as he is the final decision maker and we had the kid at the facility for a top 30 visit! The buck stops with him and if Addison continues down this path of immaturity and poor decision making, then Kwesi should absolutely be on the hot seat on the heels of his last disaster of a draft

Well that's just it, we can't say anything because nobody knows. What is known is that Kwesi is the decision maker and made the selection...so if this blows up he rightfully deserves the blame. That's what he signed up for. Same as if Addison turns out to be Randy Moss, then he should get the credit. Right now this situation is trending down and this is not what he needed on the heels of his last draft.I also had not heard anyone was clamoring trying to move up for him. There were four receivers chosen in a row and he was the fourth.

Possibly this public embarrassment and humiliation (and let's assume that the Vikings are going to apply some kind of public penance to him, if they haven't scolded the hell out of him already in private), that he might strive to be a quiet overachiever.

Well of course it's the kids fault, but there's been a clear pattern of immaturity from the day he was drafted and going full on Henry Ruggs down the highway at 3 am is the most recent and glaring. If there's a behavior issue, how did that slip through the cracks being that we just drafted him and had him in our facility pre draft on a top 30 visit!? If the signs were there and we had ample opportunity to vet sources, then you are damn right it's Kwesi's fugg up and its not a good look after his totally lackluster, non-impactful draft of last year. He is a Viking because it was Kwesi's decision to make him a Viking and spend a 1st round pick on him. Not sure how some of you want to hold Kwesi harmless in this equation. Let's all just hope this is the end of things and Addison gets his shit straight and becomes a contributor for us..

Yes, I did lay out a few things that alarmed me about Addison. But so many of you see things only in black and white. If it doesn't fit one "camp" or another, or one accepted agenda or another, you don't understand it.But cringing at Addison's money suit and his draft day phone etiquette is a far cry from indicting the GM, the coach and the entire scouting staff for blowing our first round draft pick.

What is there to understand? He's an immature kid who could have easily killed somebody else or himself and it doesn't play into the favor of a questionable GM who really needs to hit on a draft pick. That's not playing a side, that's just reality, and it's fair to question what they knew or didn't know prior to drafting him.
