I'm no expert, but that sure looks like serial behavior.

I can't say  when exactly, but this whole thing is gonna go BOOM.

I can only guess this is because they've already vetted through other channels. It would be pretty hard to believe the Browns giving up the moon for Watson without doing a thorough investigation that gave them confidence there would be no further criminal charges. But who knows.
