Again our coach shows he is a dipshit.
It's absolutely ridiculous how the kickers are being managed. I bet Bailey goes elsewhere and recovers.
I don’t think he will recover here. Same happened with Carlson.
I think once kickers get inside their own head they need a change of scenery.
But trotting him out there in that situation wasn’t the best play fir the team. When we win we often win in spite of his clock management and other game day coaching failures.
theres no one else to kick but him. hes a 10 year vet with a solid record. you gotta work through it you cant go on 4th and 14
No doubt. Have a play for 1st down or punt there. They run the kickers into the ground and then move on.

With a kicker that missed 3 chipshots already you definitely punt and don’t fice them a short field. Our coach is an idiot.
I guess we should just go for it any time we are withing 30 yds
cmon you still need the kicker to work trough it or take up a differnt profession

Ok so lets give them the ball at the 37 yard line every time. You can pooch punt if the distance is too far to go for it. Teams do it every week. You have a kicker that cannot kick today.
Yeah, a punt wouldn't have been a much better...Stick with your players and hope for the best...
This team has severely underperformed under this coach. If his name was Dennis Green they would have burned him at the stake already.
And again he fails to manage the clock and lets them pin another 3 on us. JFC this guy sucks!
@"Mike Olson" said:Bailey had been good at 50+ all season. So I could see why they decided to kick the FG. If he made it, his confidence is better for the rest of the game. It did not work out as planned but I could see why they sent him out there.@"Bullazin" said: theres no one else to kick but him. hes a 10 year vet with a solid record. you gotta work through it you cant go on 4th and 14 You punt there. 54 yarder you might punt there otherwise. @"mblack" said:But he missed 3 previously and he was terrible last week as well. he is clearly not dependable and as a coach you HAVE to know that.@"Mike Olson" said:Bailey had been good at 50+ all season. @"Mike Olson" said:I agree with everything you said. My angle is that he had been good/comfortable at 50+. I could see how they thought of giving him something "comfortable" (yes weird given its at 50+) to build his confidence/snap the bad streak. Most of his misses have been between 20-40 yards. It does not make the outcome any better.@"mblack" said:But he missed 3 previously and he was terrible last week as well. he is clearly not dependable and as a coach you HAVE to know that.@"Mike Olson" said:Bailey had been good at 50+ all season. @"Mike Olson" said: Yeah he has fallen apart and he is done.Yup. And he singlehandedly cos us this game. Coming back from 17 points is a very tall order.
Yeah we need 3 touchdowns to get 18 points and can’t allow them to score.
@"Mike Olson" said: Yeah we need 3 touchdowns to get 18 points and can’t allow them to score.Yup that takes the running game out. Plus the Bucs are not doing anything special. This is very frustrating just like the Seattle game was.
@"Mike Olson" said: And again he fails to manage the clock and lets them pin another 3 on us. JFC this guy sucks! When the Bucs took over with under a minute left at their own 25, I bet Zimmer was already heading into the locker room, because he could not IMAGINE taking an aggressive approach like trying to score again, with a lead. Can anyone recall him being aggressive, especially when he had a lead of any kind? With an 8 point lead, Zimmer would have told Cousins to kneel and get off the field.
