OT: Coronavirus
Wow....
Yeah, DIA is never that empty. My goodness, this thing has really gotten ahold of people. But I suspect that it's going to make a far bigger dent in the global economy than the global population.
What changes have you made? Personally, I have tickets to fly to San Francisco with my kids to see my brother in a couple of weeks. And, so far anyway, I plan to go. But I have to say I'm a little nervous about it, especially with my kids. Not as much about the virus as how people are panicking about it. A flight yesterday was rerouted to Denver because someone, um...sneezed. And I am narrowing in on some ridiculously priced tickets to Cancun in May. Am I crazy?

Pretty sure that was a misstatement.
I sure hope so.

Got emailed that one of the shows I was going to in Vegas has been canceled. Now, about getting my money back...
The biggest problem with finding out who's infected seems to be just getting a damn test:

And, how not to set a good example:

I thought so too, but then I found out that a Cleveland hospital was the first on site testing with an eight hour result. Its like in those slasher movies, you don’t see it till you turn on the flashlight, lesson is never carry a flashlight. Want a serious shock, compare how many tests per million we have done, we are just ahead of Turkey and Viet Nam. As of the 9th.

Draft would be very easy to conduct remotely, televised, no audience
Welcome to virtual America the next few mos - at least.

And, how not to set a good example:
Dummy purposefully didn't want testing back in January because he was worried if people were diagnosed it'd look bad and affect his poll numbers come November. A true leader!

Word of advice, though. You might want to avoid using Breitbart to convince anyone of anything. Here's a better one...
Just heard a good discussion about we are past the testing phase having any effect on the spread, 2 week incubation. And we are behind the curve on bed capacity, remember how China built all the hospitals in a week. There is a band width determined by the 2 week gestation.

There is a band width determined by the 2 week gestation......and NYC only will test for the virus IF the symptoms are strong enough to be admitted. How messed up is that? They are trying to change that criteria by the middle of next week. Meanwhile, the meter keeps clicking....
