So um, do we still need to fire everyone?

But this is you in a nutshell: What? On this board? Where? (eye roll). The Crusty Midwest Curmudgeon Society of course has been quiet this week. Stay tuned! Check your email for the next meeting.

I was joking about the worship part,  yes you were a bit over the top at times,  but like I said,  even you acknowledged that he had room for improvement,  but no I have not seen any that would be classified as a hater,  maybe just not as deep of a believer as yourself.  Maybe I've missed it.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Hey, I know I was/am a JJM truther. I get that part. But my expectations are not that other posters drink the Kool-Aid on him....because I've been pretty straight forward on his performances week to week. I've usually said in my threads about him that I get that others need to see it first. But there's definitely some that are thinking he's a bust already....the same that think KOC needs to be fired, which is ludicrous. More time and games are required for JJ, which I said would be an up and down road before he took his first snap against Chicago when others thought he just needed to 'drive the Porsche'. My thoughts were always about his long term potential, not the product right out of the gate.

Week to week to week. Its all we have this year. And I've said JJ needs to stack decent games, I said it immediately after the Washington game....and even after this game. But I speak up over a few that move the goalposts for him continually: Good plays dismissed, bad plays highlighted. Its an odd prism to view his play through IMO.

I AM NOY MAKING KAM EXCUSES. Most of that can be attributed to injuries.

Booth and Cein were injured pretty much their whole careers. Then washed out. Awful awful awful draft.

I do think you have to add something for TJ Hockenson in since it sucked up a bunch of draft capital. Even though he’s been shit since the injury.

Turner sat behind two all pros but seems to be turning it on now. We also used way too many premium picks to get him.

Then you got the elephant JJM. No idea if he’s going to be the man or not?  But if you draft a pro bowler DE and get a 21yr old QB for 2 decades you pretty much forget about the previous warts.
