The #Vikings have played FOURTEEN different offensive line combinations through the first 5 games, Kevin O’Connell mentioned via The Schrager Hour
We've seen what losing even one good OL (Landon Dickerson) can do to an offense. Considering 14 different line combos, it's nothing short of shocking the Vikings have a winning record. If they can somehow pull all five starters together at some point, they are going to be a completely different offense.

Getting bodies back is good, continuity even better - but that might just be a pipe-dream for a while.
Then add the middling defensive play, not stellar QB'ing? The 3/2 record is even more remarkable lol...
I have no idea what the rest of the year will bring with so many questions on injuries and at QB.
Put on the fan seatbelt and "hit go" I guess..

As much as we may whine/growl about not "having nice things"...even the teams typically with the nice things are having a wicked start to the year.
The Eagles just got HANDLED by the Giants. KC is nearing dumpster fire status. SF can barely keep Purdy upright after paying him. The Pats just took the Bills down.
Baker Mayfield is apparently the head mofo QB in the league right now. Baker "fired in favor of a masseuse r@pist" Mayfield.
At some point, we have to just call this a tweaked season.
ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!
OK, KOC, time for that miracle....

We aren't the only team with OL injury woes.
Hard to project anything two weeks ahead, but now the Chargers RT, Trey Pipkins, who was starting in place of the injured Joe Alt, who was playing LT in place of the injured Slater, is now out with a knee injury and will not play in week 6.
Making matters even worse, Pipkins backup (OT4) just showed up as a DNP on the injury report too. The fact that we play them on a Thursday will make it even harder for those players to get back in time.

They need to put a bullet in Thursday games...Especially when they move to 18 game season.

The Broncos - Jets game....yuck. Fields threw for 45 yards. And they almost won. Who are the truly great teams? And why are there so many mid to shit teams? And all the teams that played well last week, played like garbage this week....and vice versa. Yet the media is crowning and dissing both left and right, changing direction every week!

The playoff teams last year were the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans in the AFC, and the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, Washington Commanders, Los Angeles Rams, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC.
It's still early and all of these teams can still pull it together, but I would argue that with the possible exception of maybe the Packers, ZERO of these teams are as good right now as they were last year. Most of them are significantly worse.

Parity + Injuries are the headlines for me...Bettors beware
I shouldn't be surprised, but it's also so true that it's not who you play, but when you play em. For example, I think we're playing the Eagles right when you wouldn't want to play them...And KC? Lions played KC at home at a time where the Chiefs pretty much HAD TO WIN.
