The next 4 games after the Bye week

The Vikings next 4 games (post-bye) seemed very daunting a couple weeks ago, but actually may be more winnable now. Not easy, but not impossible.

Week 7: Eagles
- Eagles 4-1 but just lost to the Broncos
- Drama starting to brew amongst their offense
- Eagles will have mini-bye before playing Vikings (TNF against Giants)

Week 8: at Chargers
- Tough game on a short week
- Chargers are 3-2 (after 2 straight loses, Giants and Commanders)
- Their OL is pretty injured right now too

Week 9: at Lions
- Probably the toughest game of the 4
- Lions are dominating teams and have ratteled off 4 straight wins after losing to Packers week 1

 Week 10: Ravens
- Wheels have really fallen off this squad now 1-4.
- They will likely be very desperate
- Lamar Jackson is injured but expected back before this game

It's hard to forecast at this time. The team is almost as mysterious as it was in camp:

1. So, what do we have in our young QB? Assuming he's back to playing by then...is he more like his one good quarter, or more like the 7 forgettable ones?

2. If JJM's NOT playing, does Wentz get more consistent with familiarity, or does he retain the wild card status he's had his whole pro career?

3. Will we ever actually have our projected "starting OL" we expected months ago?

4. Will the fuggin' injury bug slow down, and let us have some normalcy?

5. Why am I seeing guys drinking White Claw and Truly in commercials? Seriously?

6. Has KOC finally learned some balance with the quick pass game, after letting it loose a bit yesterday?

Stay tuned....
It's officially SKOL SEASON!! LET THE PLUNDERING BEGIN!!

lmao, oh yeah. Young dudes are trying to 'keep that calorie intake low, bro'. Beer is a declining category with the 35 and under in a big way. These hard seltzers/hard vodkas are on fire, they taste way better than that Bud Light/Miller Lite weak ass shit. Kids aren't slamming 250-300 calorie full flavored beers anymore unless they live in Colorado and are 35 lbs overweight.

THC drinks are en fuego too...Especially with the younger bro's.

I listened to the end of the Chargers game as I was stacking firewood yesterday.  The announcers sounded like they had lost their best friend (made me appreciate Paul Allen all the more!).  After 3 games, the sports media was talking about Justin Herbert as a legit MVP candidate.  They shit the bed twice (and pretty badly yesterday).

Yes, the Eagles are beatable.

The Ravens with out Lamar Jackson are a hollowed out pumpkin.

Agree that the Lions will be the toughest (on paper) of these next four.  They just set a franchise record for the most points scored in the first five games of the season.  They are clicking.

However it lays out, ending up 6-3 through the end of October would be a good position this year, considering our unstable, injury-prone position.

Yep, and I've tried them. A little too sweet tasting for me, but they do give you a gentle buzz. Plus gummies and vape and THC is swiftly becoming the buzz of choice for the 40 and under crowd (and one old guy in Boca).

I would 100% prefer THC to alcohol. Retired in MN!

My vape is pharmaceutical grade now that MN has legalized the stuff...A little indica some nights or a nice hybrid blend when you dont want to get tired. I cant imagine slamming 6 beers anymore. Its just not for me.

I don't think Jackson is the only problem for the Ravens.  Their D is gutted up front and that was as much of their identity as Jackson.

Not sure what the drama is with the Eagles offense, but I do enjoy it.

I'm with the old guy in Boca. Why drink a twelve pack of beer when you can get a better buzz off taking a couple hits off a vape pen where there's no calorie intake or hangover? Or better yet, no drunken arguments with the 70 year old just trying to deliver your door dash order...
