I've noticed that too.

Where art thou, Lewis Cine? He and Booth really set us back in the secondary dept but not all picks are gonna hit. It’s frustrating but it happens.

I’m glad Harrison Smith is back— really glad, he’s a Vikings legend in my mind— but yeah, pretty glaring need. The team has unfortunately failed to have an upsidey understudy at QB for Kirk’s last year, or by the looks of things, S for Harry’s presumably last year. Nothings going to be perfect but those seem like two unfortunate missed opportunities that really shouldn’t have been too difficult to achieve in some fashion.

I think Jordan Mason is going to have a big year and Jones will be solid again too. RB will be a big need next year but I’m very okay with our top 2 this year. If either goes down for extended the team needs to add someone. Chandler and/or Ham don’t need carries.

Safety on the other hand could be a big problem this year. TBD.

Who has done this? KFAN? PA? Ragatz? Vikings Territory?

More the latter two, and more on Twitter and various podcasts. You can include Dustin Baker, Luke Braun, Nystrom, SkorNorth and a half dozen other twitter regulars.

People are desperate for content, and will read even the tiniest sliver of Vikings news, so I know these guys scour the internet (forums, facebook, etc) for topic ideas and takes to bump up engagement and meet the ever-increasing demand for "news." I worked in marketing for many years and our director of social media would have her staff do exactly this on a daily basis.

At times I've definitely noticed Phil Mackey saying stuff on PD that I found myself reading a day or two earlier on various message boards.  Made me wonder, but hey he's free to read the same stuff we all are.

I don't know if people are desperate for content so much as "content creators" are in need when they decide they're going to do a one-team focused show every day of the year.

I'm sure its happened....these young guys are looking for topic ideas, discussion points. I don't believe I've seen anything verbatim, but I've seen a thread start on this board and in less than half a day/few hours there is a VERY similar topic out in the Twitterverse for their 'shows'. I think most people would be surprised how much topic stealing/pure plagiarism that goes on in general everywhere in the media. Or even outright lying about 'sources'. For instance: Colin Cowherd loves to say this, 'so I got a text from someone I really trust on this matter'....insinuating a source on a team. He could mean his fricking gardener in that context for all we know. Its just too easy to lie that you have sources when the journalism game is to never name sources, or at the very least be manipulative about the context like Cowherd does. There have been Pulitzer prize winning journalists that have been found out to be completely lying about the content.
