Likely - Garrett Bradbury
Possible - Jalen Nailor
Unlikely - Andrew Van Ginkel

KAM for GM of the Year if he can flip Nailor for anything noteworthy. Nice work by him to get something for Ingram if they'd decided they were through with him.

Chandler and Asomoah still around

Of course if Ricky was still running things Ingram would start next season.  So we can be thankful for small steps forward.

The Ingram pick reminds me of the Davis pick...

Players who are still on their rookie contract have value. See Ed Ingram.

When something doesn't work out, cut your losses sooner than later.

It reminds me of a comment that Jalen Hurts made during his rookie season after a particularly bad game that he had.

"When you drop a deuce in the toilet, you don't stand and stare at it. You flush it and move on."

the Texans jettisoned the guard that allowed the 3rd-highest one-on-one pressure rate among all guards (Kenyon Green) and have now acquired the guards that ranked 1st (Ed Ingram) and 4th (Laken Tomlinson).

For all those who don't pay attention to the draft, Kenyon Green was a 15th overall pick just two years ago.

we needed that draft capital to trade for Cam Akers later this year.

Forgot about them (not surprising), but I'd wager neither are on the roster by the time the regular season hits. God that was an abysmal draft, thanks for the reminder

Color me meh.  Is a 2026 6th better than a decent backup?  IDK.  Maybe you can swap him out with a rookie you hope to develop.

Regarding Bradbury, I think the question I would have as a team trying to trade for him, is if he’d actually cost more if he was released and we had to compete to get him.  I could very much see his salary going up if he was released and maybe that’s worth trading a pick.

Minnesota is planning to release its 2019 first-round pick Garrett Bradbury unless a trade can be worked out, per sources.
