Tough to send a 2nd rounder off for a 6th, but it is what it is at this point. That or cut him I guess. They obviously weren't going to experiment with him anymore.
At least we got a pick for him and didn't just release him for nothing. Hopefully a Bradbury trade is on tap next!

$3.32M in savings for the Vikings if AI is right. If we can get a 6th for Ingram, we can probably get a 6th for Bradbury. Better player, but higher salary might be the trade off.

And that leaves Nailor as the last surviving member from the abysmal, putrid draft class of 2022. Happy to have gotten anything for Ingram

Better than a kick in the ass, now get rid of Bradbury for a 5th and we're cooking.

Other potential trades based on what I've read/heard.
Likely - Garrett Bradbury Possible - Jalen Nailor Unlikely - Andrew Van Ginkel

We got a pick for Ingram?? Between this and the 26 comp for Darnold and hopefully Cam Robinson the 26 draft is looking like some fun.

I'm amazed they got anything for him. I'd say kudos for that but the pick was a bad reach to begin with.
Of course if Ricky was still running things Ingram would start next season. So we can be thankful for small steps forward. |
