As the article states, the EEOC is the one that brought the suit against Tesla. The suit actually started by the CA version of the EEOC. The plaintiff was initially awarded $115 mil than reduced to $30 mil..now down to $3,2 mil. EEOC is the governing body not the organization that was eliminated by Trump. The OFCCP focus was on minority participation and more recently DEI adherence for federal contractors. I had to file a DEI plan as part of my company's most recent GSA contract. The EEOC is untouched. The article conflated the role of the two organizations to make it boo scary. The EEOC will continue to do racial investigations in the workplace. As you have said repeatedly, facts matter.
Btw..I tried to find info on the actual discrimination case. Maybe it's just the world we live in but the BS alarms usually come out when a noose is involved ala Smullett, Bubba Wallace, and a number of lower profile cases where people were found to have planted the nooses themselves.
Well, in Bubba Wallace's case, the noose was found to have been left on the garage door (at the track, not his home) previously...but, no one noticed until then. As Bubba doesn't go to much trouble to scream about being the sole Black driver at the Cup level, I saw no reason to doubt the overall findings. Naturally, orange boi called him stupid and ignorant crap.
