Dude...  these are all from Facebook.  The one post from THIS SITE, that you posted above...  I thought it was meant to be a joke, but maybe not.  Regardless, the majority of the posts I've read about Sloter here have been posters questioning why we haven't given him any run with the 2's all preseason...  not we should cut Cousins and make Sloter our starter or nonsense like that.

Most of the arguments have been pretty logical even though I don't necessarily agree with them (like you).  Sure there have been a couple dumb ones (in my opinion) where some fans think Zimmer doesn't know what he's doing if he cuts Sloter or he should stick to being a defensive coordinator and stay out of the offense...  but those are few and far between.

I'm actually a little disappointed we cut him.  The kid has some arm talent and I would have liked to keep him as our QB3 to see if the light came on after one more year.  I guess I just don't see the need to gloat because he got cut.

Not gloating, I tried to prepare the rest of these jock sniffers that Sloter wasn't developing, but they all have tunnel vision. Preseason game action is the only measure. So, like many preseason 3rd string vikings QB's of the past, he was cut and not picked up on waivers. If playing football in this league was as easy as preseason against guys who also got cut on Saturday, their would be alot more successful QB's.

Actually it's the revisionist history that I am being hard headed about,  Sloter is gone and I am over that,  it's somebodies attempts to boost their own ego by lying about my position on the matter that I get hard headed about.

He still has a podcast.  I thought of it because I listened to a little bit the other day and he did a full on rant about how cutting Sloter was unbearable, stupid, etc.    He's got a good broadcast voice and the ability to blabber but his takes on the team are mostly useless noise.
