Nothing at this point would surprise me...

I suspect tonights episode won't be as forgettable as the first 2 were.

Is it too apparent Dany is going to kill Snow lol!

I feel like Jon will kill Dany. Another theory I like that makes a lot of sense is the Night King is not at the Battle of Winterfell but instead riding his dragon to King's Landing. It fits with the vision Bran had and the Vision that Dany had of the Snow falling and the Castle roof destroyed. And the Night King by himself could take control of the entire city by himself (with the dragon) to add another army of dead.

This is an interesting theory. The Night King might have divided his army. While the small army keep Jon's army busy the main body marches on to Kings Landing. Takes it down then turns with maybe a million more on Winterfell. Still got 4 episodes to fill. Makes for an interesting scenario where they think the won at winterfell but Jon knows the Night King not being there means it's not over.

I'm almost shaking after the latest episode. Wow!

On a similar note, I have a wedding in SC on May 18th. I booked my return flight months ago the evening of Sunday the 19th. When I found out it was during the GOT finale, I called Delta and asked if they could wave the rebooking fee. The first CS rep told me no, that they've changed their policy and it was non-negotiable unless of matters of funerals, family emergencies, etc. I asked to speak with her supervisor very nicely and was transferred over to some other guy. I explained the situation, adding that I didn't wanna just lie about an emergency and said I just really wanted to watch GOT with my friends. His response: "Ah, man. I've never seen the show personally but I know how big of a deal this is. You can't miss that!" He waved the change fee and I'm leaving a few hours earlier now.

This sprawling effect of this show is really funny to me.

That was bad ass. Loved everything about tonights episode.

There are a LOT of throwbacks to way way way back in the series if you can catch them.

Its all about who you get on the phone with the airlines, my wife and I learned that a long time ago. Don't get what you want? Call back and talk to someone else.

Ahhh....Valariyan steel. I'm such an Arya Stark fan too. And Clegane, why the hell do I like Clegane lol! The Hound

Badass, Epic, Tense...Watching the Dothraki flames go out like that? All of the un-sullied? Man...

Yah lots of throw-backs;  "Brown eyes, green eyes, BLUE EYES. GLOWING BLUE.

We've been watching the discussion show with the producer/director post episodes too. They've been well worthwhile.

Here's one I didn't catch:

Think about the dagger Arya used to off The Night King. It was the dagger used in the initial assassination attempt against Bran in Season 1. The dagger that eventually makes its way to Littlefinger. The dagger Littlefinger returns to Bran, and Bran gifts to Arya in Season 7, Episode 4. It was a weird gift at the time, mostly because Bran is weird. But now, it looks like the dagger's journey was much more intentional than originally suspected.

From a writing perspective, they did seem to finally kill them off in my opinion. Perfect closure. I think they tied that off so nicely because they want us to focus our attention on the true Game... The Thrones.

I'll add my own "wow".  I think I enjoyed that episode even more than I did watching Endgame.  The ONLY thing that has made this episode frustrating for me... is all the wanna be literary geniuses who are declaring how disappointed they were in the episode.  Apparently only rubes (like me) can enjoy seeing the good guys live and the bad guys die.

By the way, I think KB nailed the writers' (of GoT) point: that this series ISN'T about the battle between the living and they dying.  It is a "game of THRONES": and either you win... or you die.  That's why the Night King is done now: because he wasn't striving to sit on the Iron Throne.  Now the REAL battle will come to its conclusion.

Any guesses?  I thought Jon would kill Dany.  Now I'm wondering if Cersei will be the one to kill Dany... and then Jon will avenge her.  Those predicting that Arya would get the throne have even more reason to believe that... but wouldn't that mean Jon and Sansa dying?  Could the real ending be... that Sansa and Tyrian marry once more... and that the smartest character on the show (and most beloved) would be the one to sit on the throne?  Maybe Tyrian really IS Targaryan (read that prediction somewhere)...?

And what about Jamie?

He did survive the Battle of Winterfell and his tale is still to be told.

I still believe the name of Baratheon is going to come back into the pix.

I'm going with the Sansa and Tyrian marry again and he takes the Throne.

I also heard a prediction (that didn't really hold up) that Bran was the Night King. There were a lot of allusions to it last night but obviously the ending kind of blew that up.

I would bet that Jamie will be the one to kill his sister. He was betrayed by her, and he knows she is out to kill him.

One thing I have not seen discussed is the fate of the Lady in Red - she took off her neckless and became the old old woman again (we saw her do it once way back when). If you have read about the history of the Night King, he had a wife, a Night Queen - I am wondering if the Lady in Red was actually the Night Kings (ex) wife. I feel their needs to be a reveal as to her real history. I think she was the Queen and for what ever reason she changed hundreds and hundreds of years ago - change of heart, something - maybe she got "Religion" and rejected how her life was about turning the dead into her minions. Just food for thought  - Something is up with her that we don't completely know.

Here is one, what if one of the dragons is really female and is pregnant.  If Jon does die and Daeny takes the thrones it could usher in another age of dragons too.  Seeing as she is still the mother of dragons.  Just a thought my wife and I came up with.  I guess it could work if Jon survives with or without Daeny too.

It would be more poetic if Tyrian was the one to kill her (from some instrument of death from his / her past).  Or maybe Varys will finally put a knife in someone...
