Schedule talk?
Yikes, our schedule looks rough. Ranks #9 in overall difficulty, but look at the road games versus the home games.
Throwing out the division, we have 1 playoff team at home next year, Philly. Denver, Raiders, Redskins at home for the easy games.
Then on the road we have only 1 team that was below 10 wins, the Giants. Seattle (again), KC, Dallas and Chargers.
Maybe I am jaded, but it always seems like someone in the league office hates us.
@njvike time and time again reiterates how RS and Zimmer are failures, and are ruining the team. We all understand they are failures so far too, but what season did a Viking GM or coach not end in failure? It's not like we're all such great Viking fans because of this huge collection of SB trophies they've earned.
We're Viking fans for different reasons, but the one bond we have in common is enjoying the team winning. Calling out RS, Zimmer, the Wilfs, or even the trainers gets really boring to read. Yeah, we know RS and Zimmer have failed us. Yep, they're just in line with the other failures that proceeded them.
Sooner or later those two will either win, or be told to leave. It's Ok when fans want to believe things will get better. Opinions are like a$$holes; everyone has one. @njvike it's so tiresome to hear you cram your condescending negativity down our throats with each post.
My guess is this team won't be in the SB next year, or maybe never. Who really gives a sh!t. They're my team, and I'll alway have a soft spot of optimism, no matter how ridiculous it may seem to you or anyone else here.

Please proceed with your pre-emptive 2019 excuses. I can help you out with a few:
* Kirky will be on his 3rd OC in 2 seasons
* Having 3 new O-linemen takes time to gel
* Cook missing (insert number here) games
* The damn schedule! ( oh, sorry, you already got that one)
* The defense needs time to adjust from the loss of (insert names; likely Barr, Richardson, Sendejo, etc.)
* Injury to player X (you know its coming, it does for most teams)
* Saint Ricky was unable to achieve the Holy Grail amount of draft picks....TEN! (cue Gregorian chant)Those are just off the top of my head, Chicky. I have NO doubt you and the purple polyanna gang will come up with plenty more.... you always do!

Serious question: why are you here? There are only 2 things about the Vikings that you like: yourself- and anyone who agrees with you. Everything else that spews out of your gaping maw is negative. You talk about excuses; yet that's all YOU DO here: is make excuses for your negativity. You really should go over to the Packer board; they would LOVE you there.

Since the very first time NJ muddied the Vikefan’s skyline with his green and yellow cloud of BS and insults I have known that he is a Packer troll. He is having a lot of fun at the expense of us all. He won’t answer your question, pumpf...he can’t, actually. He knows it would be a free-for-all. But oh, the fun we could have had with him if he did, especially this season :DLike others have said, I continue to wonder why NJ is allowed to remain here. Hyatt??? Statchu?????
