Any More Chanting for Teddy??
I think we've seen worse from Case. It was hardly a good situation where he was allowed to throw. TEddy was amped up and put to much mustard on the ball.
Remember case opened the last game with a pick, hardly wOrth trying to compare limited opportunities.
But if it helps your agenda...run with it. This was good for the team to get the gitters out of ted.
Seriously? You can judge "it factor" by today's game? Ridiculous.
LOL 2 years out of the game and youre worried about 2 passes in garbage time?
I don't have an agenda, but I wondered what people here thought, and more importantly, if it will affect the crowd's desire to see him in a game.
I thought it was a great moment and was happy for him after all his hard work. It was great to see Case clapping for him. That drop by Floyd was on him. It was a fast one. I am going to give Teddy more time than this to assess where he is at.
Feet were moving like Jim Everett...
Understandible. The o line from when he played probably STILL gives him nightmares.
No judgment here. I definitely thought we'd see him once the game was beyond reach for the Bengals (also known as the 1st quarter). I LOVED the welcome he received. But there wasn't enough playing time to have a strong opinion either way.

Nice Jimmy
edit: rest of my post.
I think today was a big accomplishment for Teddy he worked 20 months to get to that point.
It's unfortunate he threw an interception.
Hopefully Teddy will get some more playing time.
Whats the scoop with Sam Bradford?
really??? the guy was on the field for the first time in nearly 2 years after almost losing his leg and after what the crowd gave him, you dont think he was a little excited?
1st off, support him as a human for just getting to this point, 2nd for being a vike.
talk about weak agenda.
@"Jor-El" said: Call it rust, or say the INT was not his fault because it was deflected. But I saw weak, sidearm throws. Certainly no "it factor". Reminded me of his modest production in 14 and 15.But I want to hear what others thought.
What I think... it that your comment was idiotic. It was in no way meant to elicit a reasonable discussion. It was simply you taking this opportunity to play the "I told you so" game with your Teddy "hate".
If Teddy had thrown a pick six it STILL would have been a huge accomplishment after all he’s been through.
I think we need to see where Sam's knee is to decide who is backup.
I need to see the film.
Seriously, i wanted at least a couple first downs so we could see Teddy settle in.
Case haD a full game as a throw away against the Steelers, but Ted is suposed to be rated on two throws on third down after running It for shit on the first two downs.
Ok.
How can anyone assess a player after a few handoffs and a whole 2 passes???
What's the point of this topic? I see this thread getting ugly from all sides and it's lame. The Vikings won the game and the division.
This was his 2 series in preseason game one. It was nothing more than seeing game speed and shaking rust off. It was great to see him get out there, no big knee brace. Ideally he could get a couple more quarters of play before post season.
today was exactly why teddy needs to get in a game if we wrap it up. he needs live game action to knock the rust off just in case he is called upon if needed.
