Zimmer: Diggs, Easton may play in London
The Minnesota Vikings have been without two key starters on offense over the last two weeks in Stefon Diggs and Nick Easton. On Monday, head coach Mike Zimmer said both have a possibility to return this week as the Vikings face the Cleveland Browns in London.

I actually doubt they will play or honestly should play. Im sure they would like that they both got two more weeks of health for the long run and considering who our opponent is, I bet we could get a victory without them
I think Zimmer likes to do the gamesmanship thing. I don't think either are playing so close to the bye and against Cleveland. No wins in the NFL are a gimme, but if you can't beat Cleveland without their starting LT and whatever dude they toss out at QB, then the Vikings are frauds. Just get it done and rest those guys.
Not sure on Easton. If he is healthy, he may play. I think with the injury to Sirles, Easton may be needed.
Diggs on the other hand, with a groin injury, I don't doubt they rest him.

I think if Diggs can play then let him play. I think the coaches know better than some Jester's

I'm more interested to see if Michael Floyd can play. It would be nice to see him have a positive effect, especially in Diggs' absence.

Don't project...lol
To the question about whether Teddy Bridgewater could start against the
Browns, Zimmer said, “We’ll see,” and added that a report about the
Vikings not wanting to start Bridgewater because of field conditions was
not true.
Is this really a possibility? This would make "must see TV" for all of us Viking fans.
@"BarrNone55" said: Nfw should they start Diggs...Agree completely. We can beat Cleveland without Diggs. Just shut him down before the bye, give him an extra 3 weeks. Hopefully nobody else gets hurt in London and we can go into week 10 fully healthy, with all hands on deck. Even at QB.
I'd much rather see Diggs miss this game and come back after the bye. The longer he has to heal that groin the better. We're going to need him healthy for the real teeth of our schedule.

Its an away game in London non conference. Hell at this rate we will only get him for 2 games after the bye anyways. Time to lift up that skirt and do something different. Frustrates me. I really thought after his two freak injuries that he would be done. No so much anymore.

IMO Diggs starts practicing this week. So he has to be listed as limited participant and therefore possible to play on Sunday. Doubt he actually does tho.
