Mostly, talking about Treadwell's challenges - or which QB should hold our future, or how good our OL really is - is just a diversion and hopefully fun. Maybe someone should start a sub-board called "Happy Thoughts Only".

So, no need for a separate board, but will say that if you want to belabor your point, expect some feedback.  If you want to debate your talking points at length, don't be surprise and whine when others debate their points.  The squeaky wheel gets the grease, so if you are the squeaky wheel, expect to get some grease slopped on you now and then.

I definitely understand the one-note approach gets tiresome, if not boring. Hopefully I vary my attacks...

To me, there is just a fundamental difference between these two approaches to argument/discussion:

1. Person A says, "Drafting Treadwell was a huge mistake."
    Person B says, "I disagree because he was the best available or the draft is inexact or....any reason."

2. Person A says, "Drafting Treadwell was a huge mistake."
    Person B says, "You should just quit complaining."

Maybe option 2 is understandable, but I don't know why anyone comes to a discussion board and doesn't expect some debate.

2. Person A says, "Drafting Treadwell was a huge mistake. Spielman sucks.  None of our WRs turn out.  Spielman sucks. He wastes our picks on his ego.  Spielman sucks.  His good drafts are all luck.  Spielman sucks and I think Treadwell is the final straw"
    Person B says, "You should just quit complaining."

Maybe option 2 is understandable, but I don't know why anyone comes to a discussion board and doesn't expect some debate.

Personally, I liked the gamble. Tready crushed SEC competition. Had what I constantly referred to as that intangible' IT' factor.

So far it ain't translating. So what does Rick do about it? Double down with Floyd.

Doesn't sound like a move that a GM who won't admit to a potential bust would make.

Honestly, all the hamdwringimg makes me wonder if some folks around here would be happier as Browns fans.

Just a waste for 3 years, then if they have a decent year they negotiate a big contract or else move on to another team. Unlike Diggs who we got production from in year 1.
Waynes is another example on the defensive side.

then by your definition Rhodes was a borderline bust as well?  he really struggled at times his first few years and had many wondering if he was going to ever turn his head around.

Here's what I will say: Shurmur is one smart and crafty dude. I would love to see him replace Zimmer in a few years, quite honestly. He'll get another shot as a HC if this offense continues to rock and roll at some point.

This might be the longest discussion I've ever seen on this board, all about this mediocrity Laquon Treadwell.   Of course, Zimmer has stated several times that he was injured as a rookie.   

I have to confess something - it's all my fault.  3 times in the last many years I have for some reason heard a name predraft and gotten some gut feeling that he is the guy we should take.   Those 3 names?  Bryant McKinnie, Christian Ponder, and Laquon Treadwell.   Then we took them and I was excited and well, the rest is history.

I apologize to all Viking fans for causing these terrible blunders.   I will try to never imagine a player in purple predraft again.

LOL, I sincerely doubt this. For what reason? This isn't directed at you at all, Maroon, you are just sharing what you heard on NFLN. But what has the Viking's front office achieved? Nothing. Who would possibly be saying this, you know? Fans online maybe? Certainly not any NFL executives.

 I watch LT a lot at the stadium today. He cant get open and D's are hardly even bothering to put a safety over him.

Floyd is coming back. Treddy will not see the field much unless injury smites the team more..
