Draft behind the scenes
Lots of high fiving and it sounds like they worked the draft exactly how they wanted it. I found the part with the Lions trade down being his "dream scenario." The Packers trade down wasn't covered but them moving up to get Booth was as well as their Combine interview with Booth

I think Campbell is Mike Tice-Light, but they are building an impressive team. The skill position guys are one of the best young groups in the league. Swift, Hockenson, St Brown (who killed us), and Jameson Williams. They have two good bookend tackles in Sewell and Decker, and the defense just added Hutchinson who looks like the next Jared Allen on defense. Talent wise they are right up there with us when Williams is healthy
Well....not sure about that. I do think they're building a better team, but first of all, Williams is a rookie. Even if you ignore the knee, we don't know yet whether he's Randy Moss or Henry Ruggs. Swift might be the best back they've had in years, but he's not Dalvin Cook. Nor is St. Brown in the same league as even Thielen, let alone Jefferson. And the real kicker, their QB is still Jared Goff.
I think they are assembling a nice group and Goff isn't terrible. He almost beat us both games last season with virtually no help due to injuries and not having much juice at receiver. St Brown didnt really start coming on until December when he had the winning TD against us. They may not be better now, but in a year or two they could be

He's not great either. Beating Minnesota last year with the horrible defense wasn't exactly a high bar. I do agree the Lions are getting more talented from an overall roster perspective.
