I think a good part of this is they have to figure out who they are first. KOC didn’t even call his plays. KAM is new to the lead man.

Clearly they trust Kirk at least for this year but the guy is a 10-year vet for fricks sake, he doesn't need Mannion around! And if he does... yikes. Also, it's not like Kirk is a Lebron-level player where he should be calling the shots to get his buddies gigs.

I assume you saw the GB game last year when Mannion had to, you know, play football? Hopefully this is just Tomasson generating content out his backside.

if he is that valuable, offer him a fucking coaching gig,  but the only way he should ever wear a Vikings jersey again is if somebody buys him one.  if this comes to be count me as likely the first to say KAM is in over his head and has to go.  Absolutely zero damn upside to mannion on the roster.

If they find a better option, I'm sure they will sign him. But I'd bet having two years in this offense would be helpful...at least in training camp. Quick, name the Rams backup QB.

Kirk shouldn't need to take up two roster spots with a babysitter at this stage of his career.

If he is so important to Kirk, fire is his ass as a player and bring him on the staff FFS.

Not a fan of Mannion, but remember since Kirk has been the Vikings QB, he's had the ability to basically choose his backup. Mannion is a good sounding board for him and I would presume he wouldn't get more than the vet minimum.
