Vikings to sign LB Jordan Hicks from Arizona for 2 years $10M with $6.5M guaranteed.

@"Hawkvike25" said: Jordan Hicks? Ugh...that dude is not very goodI have no clue what analytics led to this decision but an average LB for 5M per year when you are tight against the cap and need to sign some cornerbacks too?
You can get a Nick Vigil who had a better coverage grade (if you believe in the PFF grades) than Hicks.
I mean, I guess it is OK but what about Dye and Surratt?
Shaq Mason (the #4 rated guard last year) goes for a 5th and has salaries of 6.5 and 7.5M the next two years and Kwesi could not get in on that action? Would not surprise me if he had no clue about it to be honest. Many other GMs probably did not either though.
Still, if you are going to continue to give Kirk freakin Cousins money, then why not give him the most best protection possible so that he does not have to move (he already barely moves).
I guess more moves are coming or they will draft a guard early.
I would have tried to sign a guard and draft a LB early.

Hard to get aggressive in FA when you dont have your cap figured out when FA starts. I am sure they will field some sort of team but this is so Vikingesque to get the fans excited and then.........

Somebody wake me when the Wallstreet dynamo does something to improve the roster.

Maybe when we figure Thielen and Hunter we will get Bobby Wagner? :) Speak it into existence?LB Josey Jewell back to the Broncos for a two-year, $11-million deal, per source.
The Arizona Cardinals drafted LBs with back to back 1st round picks and Jordan Hicks still earned a starting role in 2021. He played a big role in their defensive resurgence and even had a good relationship w/ Simmons & Collins
Sounds like Kwesi brought in another CULTURE
The #Vikings have reached out to multiple free agents, including CB Darious Williams, CB Patrick Peterson, and OLB Za'Darius Smith.

He’s about as durable as they come and rarely misses games, which has been the biggest issue with the Vikes defense the last two years. Gotta have guys that stay on the field@"Hawkvike25" said:Screw that. Old broken players go to Seattle from MN, not the other way around.@"JustinTime18™" said:Damnit. Do I have this right? The fan base that wants to tank to get better draft picks isn't patient enough to get through Day 2 of FA without getting all pissy.
JFC.

No thank you. He is 31 with lots of miles, likely will get overpaid based on his name. Never been a fan of Carrol and his guys. Wagner was the heart and soul of that D, but if he was worth keeping, they would have likely kept him.
I didn’t link it but Wolfson says there’s a Thielen restructure about to come down the pipe.

I could give a rats arse how someone else feels about my disposition.
This team has missed the playoffs the last two seasons.
What is there to be happy about?
It does not matter what they do until they do something on the MFing field.
I'll be pissed all offseason and will not drink any freakin kool aid.
Sounds like to me that you want the smoke to be blown where the sun don't shine.
I got you.
