Vikings Looking At KOC
Vikings have identified Kevin O'Connell as their next head coach, calling other candidates to tell them they're out early this evening, sources confirm (and as @RapSheet and @TomPelissero reported).

With Kevin O’Connell getting the #Vikings’ HC job after the Super Bowl, Patrick Graham is now expected to return to the #Giants as the defensive coordinator on Brian Daboll’s coaching staff.

A young, irish, offensive minded coach off the McVay tree.
Hopefully the Vikings struck gold with KAM/KOC!
He'll know how to manage KC too I would imagine.
Half the reason Vikings fans got so emotionally entrenched in Jim Harbaugh was because we knew him. We don't know nearly much about O'Connell. But we didn't know much about Sean McVay, Zac Taylor, or Matt LaFleur when they were hired. https://t.co/ZP4In4I2aP

Vikings interviewed O’Connell in LA on Monday and came away impressed with his vision for the franchise. He was emerging as the front runner before the Harbaugh interest emerged last Saturday and now is in line to land the job, which won’t be official til after the Super Bowl. https://t.co/WP9bBXfp7g

The #Vikings never made Jim Harbaugh an offer, per @BenGoessling.

Feels like they had their mind made up on Kevin O’Connell.
Vikings were impressed with O'Connell's knowledge of their scheme, personnel and his overall presence. Came off as most prepared. https://t.co/ReN35GPn5F

Assuming Kevin O’Connell’s deal with the Vikings becomes official after the Super Bowl, he’d be the fourth former Sean McVay Rams assistant to become an NFL head coach, joining Matt LaFleur, Zac Taylor and Brandon Staley. McVay is in his fifth season as Rams head coach.

I am so happy!!!!! For me, it was either O’Connell or Ryans. This is awesome news!!!
Harbaugh definitely had me intrigued, but I am Happy about this. OC is the guy I wanted once the names started coming out. Feels like we might have got the next great young coach. My fandom has been refreshed!
So, did he accept? Hope he doesn’t prefer Jacksonville… ;)
