Sure, there is some celebration of the KIND of pick this is. And rightfully so IMO. But give the individual some credit too. Not all hot, young GMs with spreadsheets in their pocket are going to acquit themselves as well in a press conference. I don't think he mentioned knee caps one time.

I’m on midnights right now, so maybe it’s the lack of sleep kicking in, but I got a little misty eyed watching him talk about this job.

Anyway the things I got from listening to him, I think he’s smart, approachable, and humble. I think he will surround himself with people who are like that, and will be open to what people have to say.

Looking forward to the Vikings becoming the next Dynasty in the NFL.
