Sean Payton informs Saints he’s stepping down

With no vacancies yet filled, there’s now another opening in the NFL.

According to multiple reports, Sean Payton informed the Saints on Tuesday that he’s stepping down as the team’s head coach.

Are the Vikings interested? :)

Why? Is he burned out or is it because he helped drag the team into salary cap hell?

Something tells me it is 100% because he has no reliable QB, has his best WR wanting nothing to do with the team, has a lot of cap issues, and anything else that would add to the list that makes him the coward that he is.

I'm guessing Denis Allen is a shoe in. 

If not, he really hosed the Saints waiting this long.

Regardless, he's a massive douche and should have been kicked out of the league a decade ago.

He’s bailing because that franchise is screwed. It’s the worst cap situation I’ve ever seen. They are going to have to dump/have a fire sale and still be screwed for next year. A true rat jumping ship.
