Sean Payton informs Saints he’s stepping down
With no vacancies yet filled, there’s now another opening in the NFL.
According to multiple reports, Sean Payton informed the Saints on Tuesday that he’s stepping down as the team’s head coach.
Are the Vikings interested? :)
I'd wager some serious coin he'd coax out at least 2 more wins vs that clown McCarthy...
I still cherish the memory of this jerk taunting Vikings fans just before the miracle happened. Justice served!

I actually don't think he's a bad coach. I think he's smart and competitive and if he was OUR coach, you'd probably love the guy. But things are much easier when you have a Drew Brees at QB. And the Saints are big time screwed with the cap now and he's getting off the sinking ship. That contract for Taysom Hill is ridiculous. It just seems like they are set up for some bad football in the near term.
He helped shoot a hole in the bottom of the ship and is the first one to jump off. Like Hawkvike said. He's a coward.
