Bio on Phil Rauscher who takes over for Dennison. Has experience with the Kubiaks. Phil Rauscher joins the Vikings staff in 2020 for his sixth NFL season after most recently serving as the offensive line coach for the Washington Redskins in 2019. Rauscher will work with Offensive Line/Run Game Coordinator Rick Dennison, who he coached with on the Denver Broncos staff during the 2015-16 seasons. Rauscher also coached alongside current Vikings coaches Gary Kubiak, Brian Pariani and Klint Kubiak as a member of the Broncos coaching staff. Rauscher was promoted from assistant offensive line coach to offensive line coach when Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Line Coach Bill Callahan was appointed interim head coach prior the Washington's sixth game of the 2019 season. In the 11 games Rauscher served as offensive line coach, the Redskins totaled 1,239 rushing yards and average 4.62 yards per carry, the eight-best average in the NFL during that span.
Callahan is one of the better OL coaches out there, I like that he’s coached w/ him a lot…!

Yes, the NFL Network is basically State run TV for the NFL. All is well, comrades.

Looks like Dennison wasn't fired, the team and he are in 'discussions'. So maybe a little premature sports media.

I think individual rights should supersede the whole community/family/team/species and common good.  My rights are more important then anyone's else.  My ignorance is bliss.

I think he was being sarcastic. The German bombing of London has been used as an analogy many times, but if my neighbor insisted on keeping his lights on during a raid because it was his "right" to do so, endangering me and my family, I would probably go shoot him in the ****ing head and turn his lights off. Well, y'know, after asking nicely.

Even better. Send the message without sacrificing the coach. Now, we'll see if he comes around. Betcha a dollar and a donut that the the "fired" report was leaked intentionally.

Yes, minny65 was being sarcastic. So was I.  Pretty sure we are on the same wavelength. I was just following his lead.

As bad as our O-line has been, I can't imagine how much of an impact this could have. :o ;)

Lines been bad because it was ignored for over a decade until recent years.

How long have coaches, players, ownership been aware of these rules and tiering?

You cant just turn around head to CVS and be back on the field tomorrow. His best bet is the J&J 1 poke which may allow him to be back in 14 days. Moderna or Pfizer? A hell of a lot longer.

That's if Dennison even takes it in any form. His days could very well be over as a Vikings coach. While players make the coaches in this league, I've never been a fan of his.

As an aside, another coach, Patriots co-offensive line coach Cole Popovich, will reportedly not be with New England during the 2021 season "in a decision related to the COVID-19 vaccine," according to ESPN.
