NFL Ticket Via Amazon Prime
Hello there.....this is a thing? If you have Amazon Prime, you get the ticket free? Or no?

Im to the point that if the nfl isnt going to make it easy for me to consume their content then im not going to feel bad about watching a free stream.

Pretty sure you have to pay for Sunday Ticket via Directv in order for the the Amazon Prime app to work.

I was onboard with the NFL rewind when I could watch my team for $30. Then they did away with the single team and made it $100. Screw that.
Sounds like Thursday night games only, plus new this season 1 Saturday night game...
The Sunday Ticket is exclusive to DirecTv (now AT&T yuck)
Are you ready for some NFL football?
If you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber, you’re going to receive an extra helping of professional football next season — and it will be exclusive to Amazon’s Prime Video and its gaming platform Twitch.
The NFL recently announced that for the first time ever there will be a broadcast of a regular-season NFL game that will be featured exclusively on Amazon’s streaming platforms for a national audience.
The date, time and teams involved in the game are still up in the air due to scheduling uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic, but the announcement did indicate that it will be a Saturday broadcast sometime during the second half of the 2020 NFL season.
The NFL originally planned to unveil its 2020 schedule on May 9, but that could be delayed as executives try to map a plan for playing the season through COVID-19 concerns.
Prime Video as a standalone product is $8.99 per month, but it is included in the $12.99 Amazon Prime subscription that gets you free delivery on Amazon orders. The annual subscription rate for Amazon Prime is $119, though there are some discounts available for qualifying students and EBT or Medicaid cardholders.
The news of the exclusive Prime Video-broadcasted game for the upcoming season was part of a larger announcement on the streaming partnership between Amazon and the NFL.
The two companies also announced an agreement to continue with Amazon’s exclusive streaming rights to the NFL’s Thursday Night Football broadcast during 11 FOX telecasts for the 2020 season.
The agreement also will allow for Twitch, which is Amazon’s popular video game streaming platform, to simulcast the games each week.

Ugh...leaving dollars on the floor...
The good news is it I want to put up a DirecTv dish at the new place, it's only a $1,000 security deposit.
Security deposit on the townhouse was $250.
In this day and age of a'la cart TV, I'm still confused on the pricing model of the NFL Season Ticket offered by DirecTV. I had them for years until I cancelled about a half dozen years ago. Got tired of paying for crappy games I wouldn't watch even bored and having to play that silly game of threatening to cancel just to keep the price manageable.
I'd ask them why can't I buy just Viking games that aren't carried locally here in Pukerville? They are guaranteed twice per year here and the Bears and/or Lions games are usually offered as the regional games when the Puke are not on. Then combine with the fact they are the national game 2 or 3 times per year anyway, why was I paying $300 or more for only 8-10 games on DirecTV??
Anyway, I'd pay per game for any that aren't carried locally, through Prime if it was available.
I had Directv for 15 plus years and loved it. Until ATT bought it... Grrrrr. Everything went downhill fast except the price which went up nearly 20%. I had enough and dropped them. I do miss being able to watch the games at home. But......

Same here, once AT&T took over price of Directv package went from $90 to $156. I called and asked if my bill was correct and they said yes. I said please cancel my service. A customer since 1997 and never missed a payment and then in 2019 they they never tried to keep me. Oh well, some companies have way too much money.
As someone who has Amazon Prime, but no NFL Network (I have Youtube TV), this sounds like good news for me. For that one game/week, at least haha.
There's usually a few games/year that are exclusive to NFL Network and I have to jump through hoops to watch them.
This guy told me how to get them all free and that's what I've done ever since. =)

You don't need to get direcTv in your instance to have Sunday Ticket. You can just get the streaming version as it is a townhome. I think it's $200 for the basic package.
