LSU WR Justin Jefferson in 2019
3rd down: 27 targets, 24 receptions, 17 1st downs, 6 TD
12 Redzone TDs (Most among draft eligible WRs)
I'd say this is a pretty good fit.
@"BarrNone55" said:I realize they are different players, but I see a lot of similarities between Pittman and Laquon Treadwell. Both bigger bodies, not super fast, not a ton of separation from DBs usually, uses size and length to win, good blockers, etc. Having gotten burned by the Treadwell pick, do you think we will draft someone who has a similar physical profile? Kubiak has had success with Demaryous Thomas in his offense in the past, it just seems like the quicker, faster, more agile WRs that can more easily create space and separation from DBs would be a better fit. JMHO.· 7hJordan ReidLots of love out there for USC WR Michael Pittman, Jr. Wherever he's slotted in your rankings, push him up. Glowing reviews for him all-around. Football DNA, multi-time special teams player of year, and only getting better.

Hearing Mooney has risen in NFL circles, now in play to potentially go first half of Day 3.
Ran 4.38 in Indy. Pop topper caught in wonky college O. 20.7 YPC as junior.
Reagor just blew up his individual pro day. Anywhere from a 4.22 to 4.28/40, down about 10 pounds from the combine where he verticaled 42 inches. Very explosive and is a big threat as a kick returner.
It's going to be super interesting to see what direction the Vikings go to fill their WR need. Lot's of different, very skilled wide receivers in this draft
@"BarrNone55" said:So it would seem Ruggs runs the most of the route tree. But doesn't that depend if they are more used as a wideout or a slot? And also dependent on the offense a team runs or even the ability of the QB?Percent of targets by route over the past two seasons for some of the top receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft, per@PFF.2093232
I am seriously asking. Basically I am not really sure what to get/analyze from the above stats?

Yup, this would be more useful if we could tell where each WR was lined up from. Just from stuff I've read, JJ was in the slot about 2/3 rds of the time. Ruggs was out side more often than Jeudy.

Claypool makes me nervous. I don't think he'll bust, but how many of these HWS guys just don't live up to the hype? A lot. Remember that Matt Jones guy from Arkansas? Goes to the combine, measures 6-6, 240, runs a 4.37. Everyone goes nuts. Goes 21st overall to Jax, never does shit, is out of the NFL 4 years later.

Name another 6'4 WR in this class that has hands as good as Hodgins and can do this consistently. I'll wait. pic.twitter.com/KDXmKDy9ek

Must. Draft. This. Man.
Here's a sampling of my recent lengthy Zoom chat with former #Gophers WR and #NFL Draft prospect Tyler Johnson. He addresses the Bleacher Report report from earlier this year about character red flags. Thought he answered my inquiry well. pic.twitter.com/Pl3QPPyxTX

You won't like this but that looked like Diggs in slow motion. :-) Still, that's a helluva route for a 6-4 dude. 4.61 though. Who's his comp do you think?
