IT was close, the players are clearly split on this.

I’m a QB I understand I never take the same beating teammates do -yes there is an added 17th game-of about 70 snaps. -there’s 12 less padded prax in camp. A prax avgs 50+ snaps. That’s 500+ LESS padded/contact snaps for players in exchange for that 17th game

The new CBA eliminates suspensions for positive marijuana tests and also limits the testing period to the first two weeks of training camp and raise the threshold for a positive test from 35 to 150 nanograms of THC.

79% participation rate in the vote.   That kinda blows my mind since you don't even have to get off the couch to vote if you're a player.

"Close" would be if they went to several votes and dragged on for months. First vote, only 79% cared to vote? Hardly serious resistance.

I question if 20% of the league could read the CBA proposal let alone  understand  it enough to vote.  I did hear that it was really damn long and that would have cut into gaming time....or 20% were to high to remember where they left the proposal.

I think removing the marijuana suspension is a good thing.
