Trump's racism no longer in question

2. It is mathematically miraculous that NO Democrat is EVER accused of racism (by other liberals).  I've yet to find any of our resident liberals to start a thread about the racism of "one of their own" (which leads me to believe that their REAL issue isn't racism... it's being intolerant of anyone who disagrees with them and using whatever means necessary to attack/silence them).  Unfortunately, that word has been thrown around so casually that it has simply ceased to mean anything.
Not sure I agree.  What is kind of interesting and relevant is that immediately before Trumps tweets,   AOC had pretty much directly called Nancy Pelosi a racist.  I think the outrage mob clearly eats their own.  It's definitely graded on a scale though.  Conservatives get hit much harder than Liberals.  It's certainly not a case of policing your own.

Yeah ... and  Donald Trump stuck up for her.

There is something under the surface.  It will come out soon enough.

I'm guessing that part of it comes from huge scandals and even career assaults that are coming from old quotes, tweets, etc...and the glass house that is D.C.

Chris Pratt wore an american flag shirt with dont tread on me inscribed on it. Apparently that is now racist as well.

Ive kinda resigned to the fact that if youre white and dont vote for democrats that youre defacto racist according to 40% of the country.

The word racist has pretty much lost all meaning to me because everything the left even remotely disagrees with is called racist now days.

Gee, who would've thought that starting ANOTHER "orange man bad" thread would devolve into this?

Before this gets deleted or "locked"... I wanted to add 3 more things:

1. Maybe we would take accusations of racism more seriously, if they weren't made against everyone whom the Left doesn't like.  Chris Pratt... a racist?  OK...

3. Conservatives support / vote for ALOT of women and "people of color" (assuming that that is the PC way of describing them).  You'd think that if "we" were racists and sexists, we wouldn't think so highly of people like Candace Owens, Condi Rice, Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell (who only fell out of favor when his ideologies tilted liberal), Herman Cain, Thomas Sowell, Sarah Palin (who was a woman that many conservatives supported- even if she was off her rocker sometimes)... to name just a few.  Seems like "we" couldn't care less about skin color.  What matters to us- spoiler alert- is the content of their character (i.e. whether or not their values align with our own).

And before it gets mentioned: most of the conservatives I know do NOT support Trump's personal "values".  But they do support alot of his policies... and, given a choice between him and Hillary, they chose Trump.  Of course, it's not like her closet was skeleton-free either; but since she was a Democrat, her past (and personal values) were never up for discussion.

With all that said, I'm out.  This is no longer a discussion (ironic title).  It is a 3rd grade play-ground fight: "You're a poopy- head!"... "No, you are!"
Yep, there it is.

Let me help you with your spin cycle so you can defend Trump's racism, because you're working overtime to minimize it.  Way to go Full Jesus!

1) We can't be racist because ... ""We have a token black friend, or other people of color we do like"

2) Maybe we would take accusations of racism more seriously... "If any of us understood what racism is, because none of us seem to grasp how telling people of color to go back where they came from is racist"

C) Why can't liberals find another racist to pick on?  "It's so lame of liberals to continue to point out that the leader of our country says racist shit constantly, and it's not fair!  Can't you find another racist to pick on please!?  Because it's no big deal since he's on our team and quite frankly most of us agree with him deep down, but I can't possibly be racist or bigoted myself because ... I just can't be since I believe in Jesus and there's other people of color I do like (See Exhibit A)".

Since you poor souls have to literally have it explained to you why Donald Trump's comments were racist, I offer you the policies taken straight from the website of the federal agency tasked with enforcement of the laws that prohibit workplace discrimination:  The US Equal Opportunity Employment Commission

https://www.eeoc.gov/eeoc/publications/i...-facts.cfm

Harassment Based on National Origin
  • Ethnic slurs and other verbal or physical conduct because of nationality are illegal if they are severe or pervasive and create an intimidating, hostile or offensive working environment, interfere with work performance, or negatively affect job opportunities. Examples of potentially unlawful conduct include insults, taunting, or ethnic epithets, such as making fun of a person's foreign accent or comments like, "Go back to where you came from, " whether made by supervisors or by co-workers.

Now please re-read the last line:

"Comments like GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM"

Now that it's literally fucking spelled out VERBATIM for you clueless conservatives in black and white that this is not only MORALLY WRONG, BUT IT'S LITERALLY CONSIDERED WORKPLACE HARASSMENT, MAYBE the light will go on for a few of you.

I wish to God half of you could grasp how fucking sad and pathetic it is to have to point this out to you why what he said is racist and wrong ... especially a "pastor" of all people.

But I'm willing to bet it still won't sink in ... so back to your deflections, excuses, and what-abouts ...

That is a very interesting take you have there SF.  I can see you have spent considerable time developing it.

Perhaps it is best to agree to disagree.

Bless you for bringing an excellent Christian analysis.

Here you go stupid liberal sheep:

DOJ ATTORNEY SAYS RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT NOT TIED TO TROLL FARMS

A newly released transcript reveals details of a humiliating hearing that took place the day before Robert Mueller’s puzzling press conference.

“Russia interfered in the election” became such an established truth of the mainstream press that expressing skepticism would be labeled a “conspiracy theory.” But now, in open court, an attorney representing the Department of Justice has admitted that the Russian government had nothing to do with the internet troll farm case.

All over the world, private citizens try to influence American politics using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and any other internet-based application that offers some promise of playing a role in the most important political contests in the world. Is that a bad thing? If you believe in robust free speech, it isn’t.

Should we criminalize foreigners who attempt to out Joe Biden’s son or foreigners who attempt to out Donald Trump’s son-in-law? Does your answer depend on who gets embarrassed by the information?

I didn't bring this up in this thread, so it isn't pertinent.

However, JIMMYINSD: A1 called me a stupid liberal sheep. Where's his reprimand?

EDIT: Just saw you're citing The Federalist. Good work! No wonder you're so incredibly misinformed.
you call him stupid and then when he responds you feel the need to ask for his reprimand... you got it wrong earlier,   you are the laughable one.

A1,  could you please refrain from using offensive language and respond to others with civility,  even when they insist on taking a lower approach with you and your opinions?
Thanks for being fair, Jimmy!

Also, oh look: at his rally in North Carolina tonight, the angry mob of racists (Trump supporters) are chanting "Send her back!" about that Ilhan Omar chick.

There's nothing to agree vs disagree about.  It's not a Christian analysis.  It's federal law to protect people, women, and minorities from workplace harrassment, it can't be spelled out any more clearly.  But I can see you're still struggling.

Tell you what A1, next time you're emptying the garbage of the HR director you can ask them to explain federal discrimination laws regarding workplace conduct, and ask them if it's okay to tell a co-worker that's not white to go back where they came from, and what happens to you after making that comment ... since you have a hard time dealing with facts posted here and prefer the conspiracy theories (pay attention!!!  Any day now ...).

I'll help you out:

Why do you think there's a policy in place that you can't make a comment to people of color like "go back where you came from" in the workplace if it's not a racist?

A1's head exploding in 3...2...1...

This could be a valuable discussion point.  Thank you for bringing it to us.

Upon further analysis, I would agree that we should send her back.  Not because she is black, or politically and intellectually disabled ... no, it is because she married her brother legally breaking tax and immibrstion laws.

Let’s compromise.  Let’s send her back and replace her with 12 educated people who want to love our country and follow our laws.

Even though you ended up being wrong, I thought you did a good job constructing it.  There is always that.

Pay attention: this is what admitting guilt looks like. Ready: I didn't know that. So if that's true, I learned something today. (Although I looked it up and it seems to be unproven.) Furthermore, I don't even like her, nor what I read about her. So this really isn't about her.

It's about the Nazi mob Trump has formed. Dude, so what if she tried to use a loophole to immigrate here. This keeps you up at night? I doubt it does, I think it's just cannon-fodder for you to further your justification for supporting Trump in this one instance. I couldn't care less. Fuck her, I don't like her as a politician either, but does everything with you "patriots" have to be ratcheted up to 11 at all times? "SEND HER BACK!" You're really not gonna be happy until we have an all out civil war. Perhaps - PERHAPS - you're rational enough to not want that, but I bet a lot of those dipshits at his rally are itching for President Baby to incite them even further.

So looks like I wasn't "wrong." This wasn't even a case of "wrong" or "right," it's perspective. But I guess it's all either black or white to you Trump supporters, no room for critical thinking.
