So, if most people were unaware of the nightmares going on there...it's because we're on a planet of over 7 billion people that are often treating each other like shit. Is Aleppo worse than the villages of Pakistan and/or Afghanistan where girls are sprayed with acid or murdered for attending school? Worse than the Boko Haram victims in Africa? Worse than whatever Russia is poisoning Chechnya with this week?
Clinton and Obama dug us into a weak-ass situation in a terrible country's meltdown. It's always the civilians that suffer most, and it's always horrible. That said, because Syria is a sovereign nation almost on the far side of the world...is it a bigger issue for our leadership than our starving/dying/violent citizens? Is Aleppo, based in another country, more of a US President's problem than, say, gang violence in Chicago or California's ongoing natural disasters?
Where should their focus, their limited energies be spent?

If they are really suffering at the border, maybe you should support the GOP's plan to provide more funding, so that their conditions will be better.
