So no collusion.
Oh and this is the Dow Jones this week after Trump ramped up his tariffs and trade war with China:

Monday:  -66
Tuesday: -473
Weds: -2
Today:  -400 currently

Yet Trump thinks trade wars "are so easy to win", meanwhile these extra taxes are added on to the price of goods paid by consumers.

So all you Trumpers cheering that extra $50 in your paycheck can foot the bill of what are almost always permanent price hikes on all kinds ofnproducts resulting from tariffs.  Do you  really think companies will lower their prices after all this shit is over?

2018 Americans paid an extra $1.5 billion on washers and dryers alone just because of tariffs.  Funny, it only affected washing machines, but when manufacturers raised their prices on washing machines, they decided to do the same fucking thing for the dryers too even though dryers were not included on the tariffs.  Why?  Better question is why not, if they can get away with it?

That's just ONE product from one industry.  The ripple effects that you're going to see prices on a fuckload of products from cars to tools start to jump.

Thanks Trump supporters, I can't take much more of all this winning.

P.S.  Aren't you proud YOUR taxes helped cover for Trump's billion dollar bankruptcy bailouts over the last 3 decades while he paid next to nothing and stiffed thousands of blue collar contractors in the process? Aren't you happy to fund his corporate welfare yet?

Mnuchin goes against the law by refusing to release Trump's taxes to the Ways and Means Committee.

Nothing to hide though, of course...
Not sure how I feel on this one.  The precedent has been established that Candidates/Presidents hand over their prior tax forms.  But its not required by law that I can find.  If I were any Presidents financial advisor I would tell them not to hand them over just for privacy concerns but that's just me.

Oh it's not required by law, but it's done in good faith to show transparency and that there's nothing to hide. What we're all upset over is that the fucking liar said he'd release them, then says he's under audit and can't (which is a lie, both that he's under audit AND that you can't release them when you're under audit), and now he and his cronies are doing everything they can to keep them secretive.
From Trumps perspective at this point what is there to gain by handing them over?

Nothing. In fact, he has everything to lose and he knows it.
From the democrats perspective they're looking for bombshells in the returns.  Its already been shown that they'll make stuff up even when there legitimately isn't anything.  Frankly if Trump was hiding "Russian payments" or whatever you're
looking for don't you think he'd be smart enough to hide them under one
of his many companies?

I think they're going after not only his personal, but his businesses too.
To add to that.  What returns would make you happy? His personal return?  Or are you talking every return from every business he has interest in?  If its the later and I had shared interest in said business the returns probably aren't obtainable without some major legal battles.

Never once has it occurred to you to think, Why is he fighting so hard to keep all of this a secret? And let's hold a mirror to this: if this were 2008 and it were Obama, would you be having this stance? This would be outrage (and rightfully so!) if Obama did any of this, especially had one of his stooge appointments go out and say that he wasn't going to release the returns when he has a legal obligation to do so.

That's always my litmus test with you guys. "If a Democrat did this, would you be as 'fair?'" I'd guess you guys would be apoplectic, insisting Obama was a Russian asset. And I'd be right there with you. Really, I would.

One more question since I truly believe this is how things could play out in 2020: let's say Trump loses the electoral college (I actually think he'll win, but if he doesn't), do you REALLY see him accepting it? He's not going anywhere. We're stuck with this guy. He'll rewrite history to keep the White House, crying Russian interference caused him to lose, the Democrats rigged it, etc. He won't go willingly. I know I sound like an alarmist here, but we've got him for quite awhile past 2020 I suspect. This will get extremely ugly for the United States.

absolutley not. if he loses the electoral college I expect him to peacefully turn over the keys on anuguration day just as has every president that hasnt died in office has done.

Ill gladly storm DC with you if it doesnt go down that way. There were republican over reacting about Obama staying past his term in 16 as well. Obviuosly nothing came of that and nothing will come of Trump leaving office in 2021 or 2025.
Just today, Trump again joked about staying in office for 10-14 more years.

I'm telling you, this is how it starts. It's a slow-moving coup. He's not going anywhere. My concern is once again renewed. I just hope when this happens, people like yourself will finally draw a line in the sand (as you have) and say "this is enough."

For such an intellectual lightweight, I shouldn’t bother with you.  A dishonest scumbag.

This isn’t whataboutism with Obama.  This was a coup by the Obama intelligence.  Russia was a made up hoax.

Pay attention.   It’s all coming out soon.

And let's say you're right.

Total hoax,  Bonafide  bogus.

Why not let the investigation run its course like Hillary did?  Why do all your people lie if what they were doing was perfectly legal?  Why do you tell your people to lie for you?

You realize Nixon wasn't busted for the crime, it was for the coverup.  And Trump has blatantly and illegally obstructed justice on multiple  occasions and is still doing it RIGHT NOW - that's exactly what the Mueller report said and exactly why even Barr admitted the report "doesn't exonerate Trump".  Had Trump not been a sitting President, he would be facing multiple felony charges, that's the opinion of over 700 federal prosecutors.

Why does this not compute with you?  Because he was proven innocent of one crime, automatically means he's also innocent of all others?

Derp.

Oh, and North Korea just launched 2 more ballistic missiles after Trump declared NK was no longer a threat.  Better get to work on those love letters!
Let the investigation run its course?  Roflol!!  Melania should just have a meeting on the tarmac?

Lol. Youre one funny guy. Do we really need to go down the economy road again?  Please reread my post on the Federal reserve. But just for fun:

The S&p500 is down roughly 2.5% since its record high 4-30-19
The S&p500 is still up roughly 14.5% YTD.

If this is “bad” sign me up for 4 more.

Do 2 wrongs make a right?  So you support obstructing justice?  That a president should have the authority to end any investigation into his criminal activities at any time?

Didn't realize you prefer a fascist dictatorship over our Constitution.

Did Hillary kick and scream after 8 GOP investigations and 11 hours of testimony under oath?

What's wrong with you?

Some facts about how much of a failure of a businessman Donnie is, and how he squandered all of Daddy's money.

No wonder he won't release his taxes! He's a lifelong failure, con, cheat, and liar... and you Trump supporters fell for it.

Time to start calling his supporters un-American, because they are, despite how many pro-gun bumper stickers on their cars and flags they plaster all over their property.
I can't agree with that.

The generalizations being thrown around are, essentially, spineless shit-talking that is a big part of the problem.  I know and am related to people all over the political map, and many Trump supporters that I know are so bitterly cynical about ALL of our politicians that most of today's "outrages" just seem like more of the same.

As much of a shit as Cheeto-boi is, he's not doing much that's unprecedented.  Lying?  He sure as hell didn't invent that.  Being an opportunist?  Heh...look at basically EVERYONE IN CONGRESS.  Is he power-mad?  Sure as hell...and so was his last major political opponent, the one who smashed hard drives, deleted evidence shamelessly (in fact, snarled at being held to ANY account for it), and whose hubby met her fuggin' prosecutor on a runway just before she was proven to be a full-on liar and security risk by the same FBI that couldn't explain why she wasn't being charged.

That's just recent, obvious stuff.  The people snarling "racist" didn't seem to mind the fact that Obama never sent Eric Holder to personally investigate a white murder victim...and, as I've posted on at least one other thread, I find it very curious that only NPR bothered to report that Trump condemned racism and racists, period...

...while most of the other "news agencies" have created their own clickbait frenzies playing up said "racism".  In fact, I'll state directly that the media has done a thousand percent more toward the growth of kkk, nazi, and white nationalist moron clubs than the prez has with his legendary obliviousness.

I know a lot of Trump supporters that, frankly, have come to expect that whoever's in office will cause Americans shame, disappointment, fury, and frustration.

Don't be part of the problem, don't pretend that judging millions by one data point offers any fuggin' insight or legitimacy, whatsoever.  It's the opposite of critical thinking, it's something done by and for shitheads.

I want to think better of my fellow VF members than that.

Oops.

Evidence just came out that Comey and the FBI knew the Steele dossier was fake!

Newly unearthed memos show a high-ranking government official who met with Steele in October 2016 determined some of the Donald Trump dirt that Steele was simultaneously digging up for the FBI and for Hillary Clinton’s campaign was inaccurate, and likely leaked to the media.
The concerns were flagged in a typed memo and in handwritten notes taken by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec on Oct. 11, 2016.
RUSSIA was a hoax!  Paid for by Clinton.

So how could Trump obstruct justice if the investigation was a hoax?

Expecially knowing Mueller said Trump turned over all information requested and allowed everyone to testify.

Delusional bastards will find out soon.  Keep watching.

You didn't link to the story because you knew this came from here:

https://www.wnd.com/2019/05/newly-unearthed-memos-fbis-steele-story-falls-apart/

World News Daily. Go search around their wonderful site: wnd.com

I needed a laugh this morning. No wonder you believe so much fucking garbage and are so pro-Trump. You're getting your news from a website that has a FAITH category right up there with HEALTH and EDUCATION.

We're never going to advance as a country if people keep reading these turds pinched out by lunatic conservatives. Seriously, A1. Stop. This shit is mental meth for backwoods Bible-thumpers.
