Would really like to see the report instead of Trumper Barr summarizing 2 years of research into 4 pages and then McConnell and Nunnes demanding nobody ever see it.

Yeah, totally on the up and up.

But as you've made very, very clear when the Democrats are in office: you're all about the truth. So I'm glad you agree with me!

I am for truth no matter which side is in power.  I probably was more vigilant when Bush was in office because he had many conservatives fooled into thinking he was conservative.  I railed against his power grabs and executive orders more than I did against Obama.

As to the report, are you telling me you are going to read and understand 300 pages of legal mumbo jumbo?

The democrat narratives are so hilarious.  "just wait until..." Manfort is arrested, oh boy Trump is done.  and then next guy, oh boy Trump is finished.  "wait until Mueller gives his report"  the walls are closing in.  Then Mueller sez no collusion.  Oh wait Barr has the final word.  No collusion.  "Mueller is an idiot and Barr is protecting the prez."

You actually think that seeing the whole report would change the narrative?  Pay attention.  The Mueller investigation which was what every Dem pinned their hopes and fantasies on wasn't what they wanted.  It stated exactly the opposite of what they said for 2 years.
Every legal interpretation I've seen was that Mueller concluded that there wasn't enough evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that the president committed a crime. He also went on to say that it doesn't exonerate him. Stop twisting his words.

So now, as predicted, TRUMP-APPOINTED William Barr, who 9 months ago basically promised the president he'd be safe, did his job just as King Baby had hoped. And now the Republicans will do everything they can that would look bad for him.

Am I going to read it? No, of course not. Just like you didn't read the Ken Starr report. I'll let watchdog groups, who LOVE doing this and do it for a living, go through and pull the stuff that the American people should know. (Although it's probably already stuff most people know, but people like you should pay attention to.)

Which leads me to my last bolded point: says who?! You didn't read it either! You're going off what Trump says as he walks around yelling out, "See?! No collusion!" because he stacked the deck with henchmen Republican lawmakers.

On a more personal note, I just did my taxes. Fuck Trump.
So wait? Which one of these "legal interpretations" was conducted by someone who has seen the Mueller report?  Barr and his office has seen it.  I can't imagine that Barr came to completley different opinion then what the Mueller report said because we all know eventually we'll see a large percentage (after legally required redactions) of the original report.
Let's watch and see how this plays out... If the whole thing is released and Trump comes out looking great, I'll be the first here to say, "Well, boy was I wrong. I don't like the guy's politics, but all the Russia stuff we already know now is actually the extent of it!"

Don't hold your breath.

Ill take that. Ive continually said Im not a Trump fan but when the report comes out in a few weeks its going to be a big fat nothing burger. The problem is everyone who despises Trump will point to the legally required to be redacted stuff as “proof”.  Barr wouldnt be stupid enough to contradict Mueller because if he did the whole report would get leaked.

Hasn't everyone all along Pumpf?
Politics is personal no doubt about that. People will sell their identities to get their SCOTUS or their wins. To me it's always personal. I don't like him. Never have going back to the 80's. I don't like his embarrassing Tweets. I don't like his treatment of woman. His lieing. Yes he lies. It's usaully sold of as that's Trump being Trump. He talks about the dishonest media then throws some totally unsubstantiated claim up on Twitter. His followers laugh it off. It embarrassing to me as an American. Oh well it's personal right. So lets get personal then. My life is simple. I work and try to get by for my family. Never going to be a rich man. His tax cuts didn't enrich me. My return was smaller but nothing like what happened to Vanguard. So what has his term produced for me...personally. I'm raising a grandchild he is 12. My wife and I have had guardianship of him since he was 2. Really before that but legally since then. We have not been offered adoption as a option. My state prefers permanent guardianship in most cases like ours. My daughter tried to be a mother but she has a disability that leaves her ill-equipped. Dad ran off shortly after birth. I carry on... Since Trump has came to office our help from medicaid has taken hits and will more this year. It is a great program really. It's the only help we get. We get medical, vision and dental. It paid for an in-home therapist to visit him and talk through issues a 12 year old would have if abandoned by his father and his mother is unstable. Well not anymore that got cut. We had to change eye doctors last year because the old one stopped taking his insurance. The new one is clear across the county and in a neighborhood I wouldn't go after dark. His dentist is unchanged. We changed his doctor on our own but had limited choices. My wife navigated this stuff well. We've done the best we can by him. So proud, really good kid.
Trump has not done one thing to make my life better...personally. I don't care if the SCOTUS he picks changes abortion or gun laws. Neither effect my life. That is what bothers me about politics. There is no separation of powers. You need your side no matter how awful to get your SCOTUS your "rights". It doesn't make one damn difference to me. Not one!!! So this devil is going to be the one you sold your soul to? Guess what they still will never overturn Roe v Wade. Just turned down a chance to empower the anti-movement again I heard. I'm about so done with politics I for the 1st time almost didn't even vote. I did and put my wasted vote agian for Johnson. I really thought with such awful choices by both sides a 3rd might have a big enough influence to open eyes. Nope... Everything I've seen then and since only has discouraged me more. Make America Great...for me. Sorry for my selfish personal shelf huh.

I've said repeatedly what I think: he's got close ties to Russia/Putin because of his business dealings. Putin knows this and, being much smarter than Trump, knows he can leverage him. Which is bad for us.

That's been what this is about since day one. I've said I don't think there's any nefarious plan from Trump to undermine democracy (he can't plan anything), but when dollar signs are involved, he'll do absolutely anything. And Russia knows how simple he is and is using him.

What - if anything - is in the report, will most likely just be more of the same. Which to people like myself is obvious evidence that they guy you support puts himself, his business dealings, and in this case Russia.

And yeah if the report comes back and there are entire pages blacked out, who wouldn't call bullshit? If it's a few names, a few sentences, I understand the necessity of that.

We shall see.

Yes, no collusion.  The president did not commit a crime or try to have the russians influence the election.  At least that is a higher bar than committed crimes but didn't "have intent" like Hillary.
I didn't vote for Trump either.  But at least I am honest enough to admit I was wrong in large part about what kind of president he would be.  He has far exceeded my expectations.
As to "stacking the deck" I suppose Mueller is a secret russian spy as well.  The excuses are nonstop.
Go back and read what I wrote.

There was collusion. It was in plain sight. And if he's exceeded your expectations...

You're just simply not very smart. There's no other explanation I can come to. He's a shit president, and the people who support him are jackasses at this point. Time for rational people to tell it like it is.

Have a good weekend!
Thanks.  Your tactics of name calling pretty much reveal your ability to have a rational discussion.
No, you thinking Trump is doing a good job shows how laughable you are. People should dismiss you from now on. Name calling doesn't change that.
keep digging.

Didn't they take like 22 pages out of the 9-11 report?  Those eventually got leaked.  Though it was years later.

I honestly have no idea how much will get redacted.  I'd venture to guess its going to be more then Trump haters want (although thats a moving of the goal post thing).  I'd guess there will be quite a bit redacted but if theres stuff in there that is very damaging to Trump that it would get leaked just like everything else that has been this past 2 years.

Easy: Trump said today his father was born in Germany. "A very wonderful place in Germany."

He was born in the Bronx.

Earlier today he tweeted Puerto Rico received $91 billion... that was the amount of damage done. They've actually received closer to $1-1.5 billion.

This is how stupid this man is.

Dig that. Donald Trump is mentally ill and an embarrassment and supporting him is shameful.

Serious question: can people support a politician's policies, without supporting the person?  I think so.  In hindsight, I don't think Clinton was such a bad president.  But he was certainly a bad person.  On the other hand, I think that Bush was a great guy... but I'm not sure about some of his policies.

Yes.

I have to laugh.  I was a huge Trump detractor during the primaries.  He was so ill prepared, didn't know the proper functions of government, made so many stupid comments.

But as he got serious about winning, he changed.  He still makes the stupid comments, but that is what twitter is for.  Hell twitter even talks about editing peoples tweets.  And after their recent fiascos, I say to hell with twitter.  They are worthless.
But Trump still makes idiotic comments.  But he governs well.  The things he has accomplished are better than any pres for 30 years.  So yes, he isn't a great guy, spouts off on twitter.  But what he actually gets done, I approve.  Other than Cavanaugh, that guy is a joke.
