It's kind of funny how the media filters out a few key pieces of information.

1) Roc Thomas also had over $15K of cash in the apartment along with a handgun
2) Holton Hill was also there when they issued the warrant and searched the apartment (although he has not been charged)
any idea if Hill is in the NFL drug program?  He had an issue coming out of college which is why he went undrafted.  If he is in the program, I believe he can get tested at any time

I have always found it funny that folks who get their undies in a bundle about someone smoking a Marlboro (and God forbid around a child!) or vaping have no issue with someone smoking weed.  But it's just like alcohol, right? Wink

Geezus, like Hill needs this kind of attention shined on him.  Especially with his past issues with marijuana.

Creates a buzz
kills brain cells
harmful to vital organs especially if abused.

Alcohol and Weed are pretty similar based in science and common sense

Perhaps the team needs to pump the brakes a bit on a Waynes trade after all....Geez, all we heard all season long about Hill was what a reformed guy he was...right....

....Okay, might be assumption city on my part, given that Hill hasn’t been charged, but if the team isn’t concerned a bit about this info then they are smokin’ somethin’ too...

It is an educated guess, but I would anticipate he is in level 1 of the program due to his college related offenses. That would make him eligible for testing but wouldn't automatically escalate him to level 2.

So David Irving just quit the NFL while on indefinite suspension for smoking weed.  He announced his retirement on Instagram while smoking weed.

But here's the part that makes you think: he said Trainers routinely give Players a litany of drug names that all sounded like Opioids and other harmful and/or addicting stuff as a matter of course and Irving found it hypocritical that the NFL quietly condones one and not the other.

Marcus Spears was on ESPN saying he was given a harmful drug by the medical staff for years when he played. He also said about half the Locker Room smoked pot to relieve the mental stress of the game itself but also the mental stress of contracts and protecting your body from what the team wants to do to it.

Made me think about the Doctor from Any Given Sunday. I bet there's a lot happening behind the scenes in most locker rooms regarding teams pressuring players to do things to get healthy, stay healthy, get stronger, etc.

If Hill was at the apartment you can bet he wasnt there to talk to Roc about what is going to happen if he get s caught.  If it is true he was there, then it looks like the vikes will be without a DB for the first 4 games as well.  I can't imagine he won't be tested ASAP.

Isn't Hill currently under a drug counseling program?  Either within the league or the Viking Organization?

Still don't get it. Are some assuming he was dealing? If he had only the weed it doesn't mean he was. He if he had only the cash and the guns it certainly doesn't. Put all 3 together it means more? Could just be a stupid image thing that I can't understand.
He screwed up. It will cost him. Now Hill is in this mess too. We have enough going on without speculating it's even more nefarious.
