What a dumb asz...
According to reports, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at his apartment on Jan. 16 and found multiple glass jars containing marijuana and marijuana wax. The jars contained more than three times the amount of marijuana needed for a felony charge. The jars were found in the living room and bedroom of the apartment.Thomas could be facing up to five years in prison. Even if he is acquitted or pleads guilty to lesser charges, the NFL disciplinary rules regarding controlled substances could lead to a suspension for Thomas. That suspension would stay with Thomas if the Vikings released him and he joined another team. Officers were led to search the apartment after the building’s manager reportedly received complaints about the smell of marijuana coming from his apartment. Thomas reportedly told officers that he knew of the complaints.

When you accept a job, no matter what it is. You also agree to abide by the rules that are in place with that place of employment. If the rules specifically say no DVs, no felonies or no smoking pot, it doesn't matter whether it's legalized or not. You agreed to follow those rules when accepting that job. If you chose not to follow the rules, your free to go work anywhere else you want or get fire if you get caught. I really can't think of any job that would allow this anyways.

Legalization is the answer. Haven't touched the stuff in 35+ years but I'm on board to legalize. No medical BS. No decriminalization half ass. Straight up legal. Medical marijuana is a joke. Not that it doesn't have benefits but how it's implemented. Go to a marijuana "clinic" tell them I got anxiety or can't sleep get a card. I heard of young people on probation through the court. Can't drink because that would violate but got a marijuana card so they can get high because they got a "prescription". Honestly I probably shouldn't state that as fact just what I've heard. However it seems like they are waffling for the wrong reasons. Half ok half not. The dug in no side has been forced off their stance but fight back enough to make this bad joke system. Make it legal put these fake clinics out of business and if someone wants to use it for medical purposes have at it. People beating the courts...well it's like drinking a beer now. You violated. It's past time it's treated for the danger it really is. 21 and up you can drink or bake. Your choice.
