Better we learn in week 2 at the cost of 0.5 win than we learn in the division round at the cost of the rest of the post season.  That situation was Zim saying, "So me any reason why I shouldn't cut you" and Carlson could not.

And Cousins is clearly hit well below the waist and is more of a penalty then those head tappers they flag for. Great throw while getting hit like Favre did numerous times with bounty gate.

Long season yet ahead, but its at least nice that Cousins has gotten off to a very good start. I'm sure he'll have a few bumps, especially with this offensive line, but one game at time.

My thought as well. Zimmer wanted to give the kids a chance for redemption. A chance to get his head right. Make it and you get another week.
