I just got an email from the team saying that single game tickets will go on sale starting the 19th... so apparently there has been some bull shit afloat by the ticket office and ticketmaster.  disappointing to say the least.

so basically it sounds like the Vikings are scalping their own tickets.
That's messed up. Scalping their own tickets at the most diehard customers expense.

Yep, ironic timing...   They still have the high priced Standard Tickets available right now.  I wonder if they will lower those prices or keep those up, then release others at face value?

I got an email about July 19 that says: Single-game tickets for preseason (as low as $20) and regular season (as low as $58) games will be available online only via Ticketmaster.

Oh ok. Just wondered. It's quite curious to say the least.

Did they hire Mike Tice for the marketing department?

FYI, I just looked on ticketmaster and those team issued tickets that were available at higher than secondary prices, are no longer listed.  Looking like my guess is coming true...  team throws them up at a high price to see if anyone bites, then lists them as an official ticket offering at regular price.

Well, they simply reposted the same tickets they had on sale already, but, at the same damn high prices!?!  $225 plus all the ticketmaster fees for 100 level endzone tickets.  That's higher than secondary right now.  F them.  317 Row 1 for $150 plus fees.  I know someone that has tickets 316 Row C, which are better seats, for $80 total.  Season ticket price though.

Their new ticket scheme sure leaves a bad taste...
