the best of the formerly great RB club?  CJ has been the leader of that for many years, AD just finally joined the club and dethroned him.
nah, the contract club,  remember when they were trying to see who had the biggest dick by who got the bigger money.  cj got his and then the Vikes topped it for AD.  it meant something to them at the time.

And yet it wouldn't shock me to see one or both of them broke in 5-10 years.

from one so-so team to a struggling team.  Not a pretty way to go.

Oh well, he isn't a Viking anymore so I really have ceased to care about him.
He won't care.  he just wants touches, not really championships.  How do I know Adrian is about Adrian?  His dad texted me when Cook went down and said, "You think there is any way that the Vikings might trade for Adrian?"

I don't have near that type of pull or insight, but knew the divorce was final, as Adrian had played the victim for too long here.

Don't wish him poorly there, but don't wish him to light it up either.  He needs to learn to be a bit more humble about a high-paying NFL opportunity, that few get to dream of, or even realize.  He did not treat the Vikings well the last few years, yet blamed them for his problems.  He carried this team under Childress and Frazier and Ponder. But, he also held us back from having a balanced, NFL offense.  And the latter, is not really his fault.

A buddy of mine is a huge Cardinals fan. Mainly because of Larry Fitzgerald. His father in law is a huge Saints fan, and my buddy made fun of him for the Saints signing Peterson. Should be interesting at family get togethers at his house.

Anyway, good luck Adrian. I can actually hope you do well now that you aren't a Saint. (the team, not an actual Saint)

Too bad the Vikes don't have the Cards on the schedule.  It would've been interesting to see AD vs the Vikes twice this year.

Looks like that could be a lot sooner than 5-10 years.

Bank files lawsuit against Adrian Peterson over $2.4M loan

As Adrian Peterson prepares to make his Arizona Cardinals debut following a trade from the New Orleans Saints, one situation from his previous life in Minnesota is making headlines.

According to the Star Tribune, Crown Bank in Minneapolis has filed a lawsuit against Peterson alleging that he defaulted on a $2.4 million loan from back in 2016.

Doesn't mean he is insolvent, or doesn't have money, he has just elected to thumb his nose at his financial commitments and obligations.  Like many athletes, Adrian is not "a business man" nor having a deep knowledge about finances.   Given he paid it down to $596k, you'd think he'd want to resolve that, than lose in court, or be forced to declare bankruptcy (which he can't claim in this case, because NO and AZ are giving him $2M+ to play, and that will resolve this loan).   The question will soon arise, how many other people does he owe?
