AD Heads To A More Camel Friendly Region

Adrian Peterson - RB - Cardinals

Cardinals acquired Adrian Peterson from the Saints in exchange for a conditional draft pick.

It is something of a surprise after the Saints RBs coach talked up Peterson during the bye week, but the move makes sense on both sides. Peterson was never a fit in New Orleans, and his departure opens up touches for both Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara. The Cardinals need to find a way to jump-start the running game, and Peterson is a good fit in their power scheme. That said, it is not a given Peterson has any more success than Chris Johnson behind a bad offensive line, and Arizona is likely to remain a pass-heavy attack. Peterson is now worth rostering in all leagues, but Jerick McKinnon and Aaron Jones are better adds.

Now CJdoucheK and he can be former 2k RBs together grinding out 2.5-3 ypc.  Seriously though, AD should at least get a better opportunity in AZ to prove he still has something... or not.

I'm just glad he wasn't traded back to us.  I never took that suggestion seriously, but you just never know...

from one so-so team to a struggling team.  Not a pretty way to go.

Oh well, he isn't a Viking anymore so I really have ceased to care about him.

I guess not.  Apparently they thought AD is STILL better than Johnson so they released him.

the best of the formerly great RB club?  CJ has been the leader of that for many years, AD just finally joined the club and dethroned him.
