Great job by Brez to not only get us under, but give us some room to add some players this week. Think we target a few mid to lower tier guys. I could see CB and DT being positions we target and with this being a strong safety draft, we go there with a 1st pick and also a RB with one of our day 2 picks.
I could see a guy like Christian Wilkins, he was drafted by Flores and we went hard after him when he was a free agent, Could be a great place for him to get his career back on track. At CB Diggs seems to be a guy with a lot of talent who could be work taking a chance on. I could see someone like Greg Newsome. I think some like Kader Kohou is someone to keep an eye on, he is a pretty underrated CB who will not cost as much.

Outside of supplementing the roster (using their speak) and QB, I have no idea how aggressive FA will be?
Probably the only thing I feel comfortable placing a bet on is that it wont be as splashy as 24/25.

So last I checked, including Hockenson's restructure, the Vikings now have about $31 million in cap space. Considering that they started $45 million over, that is some kinda Brez magic! I believe that they are still looking at restructuring O'Neil's contract which would give them even more room.
This is not as splashy as last year's $65mm in pre-FA cap space (and massive cash salary spending that didn't work out), but it's damn good.
With a decent number of draft picks (TBD depending on mid-round compensatory picks), some newfound available cap space, the potential of Kyler Murray being signed for the league minimum (while getting paid handsomely by Arizona), and I think the obvious holes we have...Center, Safety and DT, plus any number of other positions, can be filled and I think we can field a pretty strong roster.

Vikings dont have:
Qb1a/2
RB1
We got needs big on D too. I am surprised this team put up 9 wins.
Lots of little birdies in the nest with their mouths open for a worm or 2. The last few years of poor mgmnt are coming home to roost?

I prefer to think the glass is half full. with lota of line injuries early last year and spotty at bestqb play this team still won nine games with marginally better qb play this is atleast a 11 win team .if not for a special teams let down against Chicago they were in the playoffs last year

The mismanaged wasted cap space
Trading away too many future picks and too many busts have limited the Vikings options.
The constraints of this off-season were all self induced. I'm not digging this.

There's been a ton of ex-Vikings that have said Brez would be a great GM. Whether that happens or not, who knows?

I don't get the Brez love.
Dude's fine, but I don't think he's doing anything that every other team isn't already doing.
Getting rid of Allen will be worse than the move of getting Allen. Trading Greenard, we'll see about compensation, but it has the risk of being this years Phillips trade.

What birdies? Vikings don't have a single name free agent to sign for the first time in a long time.

Meh, what FAs does the team have that we need desperately to resign?
And the team won 9 games, yes, and they SHOULD have won at least 2 more easily. The team has some talent, its easy for some fans to forget that. Have a decent draft, sign a few guys through free agency that will help and if the team can stay 50% more healthy than last year, the NFCN will be right there for them to battle for.
