...except, that "best QB" is his team's worst enemy just often enough that he costs them further success. When he implodes, he IMPLODES.
OK, KAM, KOC, JJM, Jettas, and all the rest: Make the needed changes and let's rule 2026!

Coaches can work to reign in bad tendencies. Or do what they can situationally to mitigate them.
Case in point--end of the first half in Denver, Allen's fumble leads to 3 for the Broncos and that's the final point differential in the game. McDermott should have shut it down before that happened as there wasn't enough time to score anyway. Nothing good could come from letting Allen indulge bad instincts there. The hc's job is to be aware and on top of game decisions but McDermott acted like a spectator there. And today he's unemployed and rightly so imho.

Yep.
The fans hunger to change things out is just so ingrained, lol. If some people think that coaches like Kevin Stefanski, Sean McDermott and Mike Tomlin aren't REALLY good HCs you're sorely mistaken. Nothing more overused or just plain wrong than the term 'just needs a change of scenery'. Who's possibly going to get more out of Buffalo than McDermott has done the last what, 6 years? The opposite is much more likely to happen. Like did Andy Reid really just become a shit HC in Philly? Absolutely not.
But those immediate endorphin rushes for fans are just too strong.

If they're smart, they'll just promote their OC, Joe Brady. If they don't, they'll lose him in this cycle to another team. Then they're without both their OC & DC.

I like Brady and I like how he uses the weapons they have there...I dont know if they think he's ready for a bump-up or is a fit with where they want to go?
Who the hell knows anymore...

Bills are a team I root for outside of Vikes, so I watch most of their games, not many bad games for Allen, have no idea what your re referring to. He had one of his worst games that I have seen Saturday, however he was pretty banged up with injuries that would have our QB sidelined for the season.
Also, he has no help at all. Our QBs are throwing to Jefferson and Addison, while his top two WRs are Shakir who is a 3rd WR at best and Cooks who they just picked up off waiver. Despite everything had his WR hung onto the ball and not let the game come down to what I thought was a terrible call, they would be playing next week.

it was a catch... ( ducks) There was an angle that I didnt see shown during the broadcast, but you can see that it wasnt even close to joint possession, Cooks had the ball cradled into his body, and the defenders arms were away from his body reaching in for the ball. sucks that they come down to shit calls like that, but over the course of the game the bills had countless self inflicted failures so I have a hard time with those blaming it on 1 call/no call.
I do remember wondering if JJM was watching Allen carrying the ball carelessly and see it cost his team on a huge stage and wondering if that rang with him at all in terms of reflection of his own game.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Yeah, shitty call for sure. Had possession, down by contact, wasn't even close to a tie.
