I'll be rooting like hell for these 6 and 7 win teams below us to win some games these last two weeks. Conversely, hoping to see some of our young guys play well but ultimately losing the game. Any interest I might have had in winning on account of McCarthy's development is gone at this point

I still think the most important thing is JJ McCarthy's development and how that impacts the offseason strategy. But if JJ can't go, that is no longer a factor and the Vikings might be better served dropping the last two. It's hard to see the Vikings beating Detroit or Green Bay anyway, but especially without JJ, Darrisaw, Kelly and Mason. I kinda see the Vikings picking around the 11-12 area, which is where they were before the win streak.

Does it really matter where they draft, as long as Kwesi and Grigson are in charge?

No, but I'm still holding on to the slim hope we tank these next two games, they get fired, and someone else is making those picks.

Sorry, can't root for losses here.  I would give up a couple spots on the draft board to keep them both out of the playoffs.

Giants play the Raiders this weekend in the tank-a-thon bowl for the top pick.

Well I did say the Vikings would be "better served" losing the last two, not that I'd be rooting for losses. To me "better served" has more to do with getting the 4th place schedule than it does the draft slot. But yes, knocking the Lions and/or Packers out of the playoffs would be worth it.
