Throwing an interception while in FG range before the half has the same impact on result,  that was the same 3 point swing.  Lots of plays can be pointed to as a reason we lost,  not simply the last mistake because we happened to have finally taken the lead.  We can look at many plays over the 60 minutes and say if that had gone differently we would have won the game.  Hell the D was just as likely to have given up a major gain on the very next play after the kick return to set up the same field goal.

I think if the year is a shambles? There will be changes on the staff - more than normal NFL churn. I'm not convinced our OL coach is on thick ice either - in spite of DJ rook year performance.

Dont even get me going on scouting and personnel.

Wasnt blaming the kid either,   it was a counter point to any 1 play being the reason for a loss, but since you brought it up,  how long did he hold the ball prior to the throw?  I dont know,  but I know he is holding the ball to long on to many drop backs as he is trying to push the ball deep,  which is leading to more, incompletions and more snaps behind the chains which leads to higher pressure throws in more predictable situations.

We need to throw more on first down ( to get more balanced),  run more on 2nd regardless of the down distance result from first down.  Play calling could do more to help the situation
